Disadvantages: didnt work well

I found the H2O mop does not work well like they show on the commercials. I found it didn't glide easily across the floor and it didn't clean well like it says. It's stated to hold over the dirty/stained area for a couple minutes for hard to remove stains and after more than 10 minutes it was still not any cleaner. I also found the cloth cover did not come very clean after a wash. If it actually worked as well as it is supposed to the $100 cost would be well worth it. I personally don't reccomend this product for carpet areas although I did not try it on hardwood floors. It's supposed to work well on heavier stains and with my experience it did not even work well on a light stain. ...

Advantages: sleek design, easy storage and use
Disadvantages: unable to remove stains form carpets and pressure areas

bought recently from thane direct. likes - very sleek design, very handy to use,user friendlt, not bulky at all, sturdy works amazing onthe wooden floor gives shine steam cleans the floor very nicey. good use of steam to remove the spillage from the wooden floor especially when u have children. Dislikes - not very useful on the carpets so far, does not remove your stain, does remove the more recent pressure areas but old areas due to weights will persist and will not disappear. i was a bit disappointed looking at how it works on the carpets. overall I recommend if you have small children as steam kills carpets mites which normally persists after standard vaccumm but would not recommend if you are purchasing for stain removals on carpets ...

H2O Mop from Thane Direct

Advantages: Lightweight, easy to store
Disadvantages: Soaked floors, poorly fitting mop heads, dreadful customer service

the mop left my floors really wet even when i altered my "technique" as suggested by the helpline. the mop cloths came away during use which was very annoying as i had to try and reaffix the cloths whilst they were boiling hot and dirty. didnt clean well into the kickspaces under kitchen cupboards. when the electrical cord split and came away from the unit we were asked to return it for inspection and promised refunds / replacements etc., but parcel mysteriously failed to arrive - customer service very poor - had to chase them for weeks for updates then a brisk "claim from royal mail" suggestion - no apology, nothing - felt stitched up & stabbed in the back. looking for different model and would NEVER BUY FROM THANE DIRECT again. ...
