Advantages: Ease of use Disadvantages: not quite perfect sound quality
...DISADVANTAGE: The unit is quite large but is well worth the space it takes on the rack. The sound quality, although presenting a great sound stage through Sony amp and transmission line speakers, is slightly flowery in the 1000 to 15000hz range. Slight losses above 12000hz (previous unit a brilliant NAD)
ADVANTAGE: The ease of use of the unit and the ability to continue playing whilst selecting new CDs to replace those played is a great feature is fantastic. The channel break-up left to right is crisp and distinct.
LOOKS: The unit fits well onto a sound rack and looks professionally presented by crafted designers.
For those who throw parties regularly at home, a great choice in changers. Would truly recommend....

...The AVR 7000 is the new to end product from Harman Kardan. It is available in the US at the moment - however can be imported easily by purchasing on the Web. It retails at $1600, however $1000 is nearer the mark if you buy from a good dealer. EBAY is one place to look. The unit is solidly constructed, weighs in at 50 pounds weight - mainly due to the very high-ens torroidial power transformers. I upgraded from a NAD 3020 amp to a HK AVR40 and when I heard the AVR7000 I just had to have it!!! Includes Dolby Digital, DTS. Check out the Harman Kardon Web-site....

Advantages: SOUND QUALITY, EASE OF USE Disadvantages: NONE!!!
...I have been involved in mid and budget priced hi-fi for many years now and would like to pass on my experiences to you, the reader.
This particular review is for the NAD C521 BEE CD PLAYER.
Many of you may be asking "who the hell are NAD?" Well, it is an established british company who design hi-fi in the u.k and have it manufactured in the far east to exacting
standards, the end result being very high quality equipment at very reasonable prices.
You can find NAD products at most "proper" hi-fi dealers (just pick up a copy of " WHAT HI-FI" and you will see very many dealers selling the product).
On to the review: i bought my NAD C 521 BEE CD PLAYER ten months ago from HI-FI CONFIDENTIAL in london and paid £180 for it.
I connected it to a NAD C350 amplifier, a YAMAHA KX-580 SE cassette deck and a pair of CASTLE PEMBROKE...

The NAD C 315 BEE stereo integrated amplifier beat the Cambridge Azur 340A SE when the british magazine hi-fi world put them against one another. The C315 BEE received 5 globes out of 5 (in Jan 2008 issue).
