Advantages: Powerfull warm sound, plenty of bass, lots of connectivity, phono stage. Disadvantages: neighbours might hate you, headphones don't cut the sound.

It is a thrilling experience. But also this combination worked for my love of Jazz and whilst playing at a low volume the double bass would ... ...stage for mm and mc which I needed as well as good tape connectivity. Plus a video input for watching films as well as tuner and aux. The pre amp can easily be seperated from the slave so it can be used as just a preamp or a slave. I never thought I'd ever think of another amp untill recently when it developed a fault in the right hand channel of the slave amp. It has become distorted after about 15 years of use.
