NAD have an extremely proud reputation of making not only very good quality amps but also positioning them at a surprisingly budget level. The NAD C320 is certainly nothing special to look at, looking quite chunky but very rebust with it. In fact the build quality is something which has been focused on.

The fact that the NAD does not have a huge wattage per chanel does not mean that the NAD is left wanting for power. Despite the fairly low wattage, this is a very conservative rating and this is apparent when used on any sensitive speaker. T

The volume dial can be turned up to high volumes without any audible adverse reactions. The amplifier is able to stay in control of the music without introducing any kind of distortion into the sonics. This NAD is an excellent amplifier to compliment any kind of bass heavy music as the low end frequencies have quite some kick, which allows the bass to resonate with a deep thud but is more than tuneful to break through the detail in the bass notes.

The midrange is open and expansive and very impressive. This is particularly commendable when you consider the relatively cheap prices of this amp. Vocals are produced with a genuine timbre and the highs and lows of the voice can really be felt and appreciated. Which means that while providing some bass kick to bass heavy genres, it also partners well with the more softer vocally driven genres.

It will even do a good job when paired with not just just bookshelf speakers but also floorstander speakers. Which makes it's price all the more attractive as it's not left starving for power even with an additional driver brought into the picture.

There are plenty of audio inputs allowing to connect lots of external devices to the amplifier but unfortunately for those who like listening to vinyl, there is no phono input, this will mean purchasing a phono stage separately. This is not an issue for me as I listen to music solely from cd could be to some fans.

I would highly recommend this amp
