I picked this game up as I noticed when looking that this was a driving game for the PS3 which has vibration function available so picked this up to see how good the PS3 vibration is following all of the delays in being able to get this on the console.
I tried this game on a quick race to see how I felt about it and was really very ... ...high speed is not a simple thing to do.
On the whole I would say that people who love Nascar will love the game but for those who don't love Nascar then don't think a great game will override the underlying fact you don't like the style of racing. ... more
Let me just start by saying that I am not the worlds biggest fan of Nascar as a sport but appreciate the skills needed to be a great in the sport. I picked this game up as I noticed when looking that this was a driving game for the PS3 which has vibration function available so picked this up to see how good the PS3 vibration is following all of the delays in being able to get this on the console. I tried this game on a quick race to see how I felt about it and was really very impressed as the graphics and sound quality were both brilliant but I was even more impressed with how the vibration function does make such an amazing level of difference in how drawn into the game you actually are. Following this quick race I set about designing my own car and was impressed with how much work I could do and how stunning you are able to make the cars look. The control system is simple to use and it is not too difficult to get the hang of it but as you progress in the difficulty standards then you will not be able to just brake whenever you wish no matter which way your wheels are aimed as your car will lose control and correcting these beasts at high speed is not a simple thing to do. On the whole I would say that people who love Nascar will love the game but for those who don't love Nascar then don't think a great game will override the underlying fact you don't like the style of racing.
