I was excited to see Siemens and Fujitsu's name on the product, and how sleek it looked. The websites listed in the manual do not exist, the manufacturer does not have any support for this unit any longer. It took me two days to make it work. Kept getting "maps not found" error message, found out the mini SD came with the unit was bad, and maps were not accessible. I had to reformat the SD, and reloaded the maps from the DVD the unit came with. It took 3 hours each time, to format and reload the maps. Once it started to work it is very cool. Attractive, fits in your palm, your pocket. Very very clear picture. Impressive it knows all the point of interests even if they are small restaurants. ...

would send some disks that would put this right. So I turned off the Laptop to wait for the disks which, still have not arrived 1 week later. When I decided to turn the Laptop on again it came up with a message saying Disk Error, press any key to continue, I pressed any key and the same message was repeated several times but the Laptop would not start. I again phoned Fujitsu/Siemens and was told that it was to be returned to Comet for refund or replacement, but that they had to have a copy of the reciept from the manager at comet to send the code needed for this to hAppen. So I had to phone Comet to get this done, this was completed the same day( Thur), but no number was sent to Comet until the following Mon, this was when I finally decided to ask for a refund. I have not been able to asses how good this Laptop was, but can say honestly ...

Never be lost again!

Advantages: Good street routing, free traffic updates
Disadvantages: No M6 Toll road

For as long as I have been driving, I've always hated getting lost and having to stop, work out where I am on an indistinct map, look for road name signs that have been obscured by parked cars, vandalised, or just not there, then work out how to get back on my original route. Having recently bought an iPAQ 5550, I decided that I wanted to do away with this irritation and enter the world of GPS navigation buy getting the Navigon Mobile Navigator|4 (MN4) system.
