NAVMAN New Zealand Maps for the iCN 600-series Maps

...Having used a Tom Tom Go 700 for a number of years, I decided to update the maps of Western Europe. Tom Tom uses software called Tom Tom Home which is used to download the updated maps. Having connected Tom Tom Go 700 to my PC, via a USB cable, it was a simple matter of clicling on the relevant icon on the Home Software, paying for the maps, and downloading them over the internet. Payment was straight forward. It is undertaken electronically either by credit or debit card, and the down load commenced. Because of the size of the map file, it took a little time to download (I do have broadband running at 8mb band width, so I suppose a lesser bandwith will take longer. Use of the system is simplicity itself. You are given a choice of country, and then you select address, or point of interest.... Read review

...TomTom Map of the USA and Canada Maps TomTom Maps are a 2gb SD card with route maps stored on them that are made to work with the TomTom satellite navigation system. They originally come with UK/Europe maps so these are a brilliant upgrade if you are considering taking your car abroad or hiring a car and driving over there. These are a lot easier than using a standard map when you are visiting another country and make getting around easy. We have just bought one of these as we are planning a trip to the USA and decided one of these would be useful. I have never been abroad so certainly wont know my way around. It was very easy to install onto the TomTom. We also decided the points of interest feature would be really useful as we use the UK based one on our current maps a lot. ...Having recently purchased my Navman PiN 570 and having used it for a few months I discovered that some streets were missing from the mapping software. A quick visit to Navman's website soon remedied this problem. I simply followed the easy instructions to update my Navman ST software to the 2005 version. After a few clicks and a few minutes the software was installed on my PC. After running for the first time I was asked to complete some simple questions and to connect my Navman PiN to the PC. Once this had been accomplished it was just a case of re-entering my original software serial number to verify my details which I had previously registered with Navman.
