Advantages: Great sound and extremely playable game. A official game and multi-player heaven. The face aminations are totally wicked,overall the graphics are wicked. Disadvantages: The Al is sometimes annoying the season mode is probably only for basketball nuts as it takes 10 seasons to complete.
...NBALive 2000' is a part of a great series which is still going strong with the 2001' edition. It has progessed from the paltry 96' edition to a great sports series. This game used to be the best basketball game on the Playstation but 2001' is now the best as it has got extra features and it is the most recent in my opinion. EA have published great sports series since the Plastation came out. Like Madden,Fifa ect,and this series is no exception. A truly great game.

...Dissapointed is all i can say really. This game had huge potential, the NBAlive 365 was ingenious, and i was so excitied about this title i even pre ordered it. The idea behind it had potential, the hot streak and updated trade as they happen, really made the game feel like a real franchise. But the gameplay is sloppy and feels slow, for anyone that plays or watched basketball regularily this would be a waste of your hard earned cash. The game just doesn`t do justice to the the real thing, obviously i wasn`t expecting mirracles, but still it just is not relaistic enough, running through players, clear travels towards the basket. The pace just isn`t speedy enough either, i had to pump the game speed option up to almost full to even get a sense of realism. ...Over the years, I have seen many games come and go. You remember the very best, you remember the very worst and you vaguely recall all the sequels, annual updates and games that tried to do things differently. 40 Winks must have been floating around right at the very back of my subconscious for some considerable time, maybe because it didn't fit comfortably into any of the above categories.
