Good monitor, but not up to...

I purchased this monitor a couple of years ago, and it arrived with one dead pixel. Despite this, the monitor is quite good - It has a quick response time and good colour reproduction.

The monitor was well packaged, with all the required leads and cables, along with an instruction manual. The manual itself is not brilliant; it's somewhat sparse when it comes to information about the monitor. Also, the provided drivers are nothing special, and can cause problems with current colour settings.

Although it was quite good a few years ago, it's no longer up to current standards. Only buy if you're after an "average" monitor. Beware of dead pixels when purchasing, and be sure to check the dead pixel policy - Some places will not swap out monitors on the basis of dead pixels.

Welcome to Ciao! I would also like to have seen some more info on the product and possibly a guide to price and where it can be purchased.

I am sorry to say that I do agree with those who have come before me, some more detail is needed to get higher ratings. My first review was just the same. So dont worry. I dont want to tell you how to write your reviews but I will pass on a little advice that has helped me if I may. First take the time to read the help section on reading and rating reviews - this lets you know what is expected and how your reviews are rated (or at least should be rated). Second take five minutes and read some of the other computer/LCD reviews, some reviewers are fanatical about their reviews and they are absolutely exceptional (Try some of the DVD reviews) so read a few. If you edit this let me know via my guestbook and I'll come back and re-read it. Good Luck and enjoy the experience. Matthew.
