Advantages: comfortable phone, easy to use Disadvantages: lackluster phone, bland

For a start the battery life is shorter than the DB2000 so this is a downgrade instead of an upgrade. On the first phone I had there were two serious faults. Aesthetics:
The flip is sturdy and not clumsy at all and the buttons are easy to use to navigate the menu system as well as for dialling. The antenna is not to big and will not make a big impression when carrying in your pocket.
The Menu system is the same as the previous DB2000 so software wise it does not appear upgraded. The ring-tones are also the same as the DB2000 and now sound very bland and boring for what should be a newer improved model.
Only thing I think it lacks is a bit of character, to separate it from the other phones, you have to remember this is about the forth phone that NEC have come up with in the series....

One there was an echo problem when calling people and two there was a clicking noise the phone would make when on standby it would just sit there and click like the battery was about to run out. These faults were not present in my second phone, which took the Pocket Phone Shop about two and half months to repair or replace as the case maybe. This did not leave a good impression of their company and also leaving me with a Nokia 5110 as a replacement without a battery charger, great customer service there.
Advantages: light, big screen Disadvantages: size, aerial sticks out
this NEC phone is great for a 2nd phone. Its light, has a bigger screen than other phones and has a flip-front which looks classy. However, this phone has had its time passed and looks obsolete when compared to other phones. The buttons can be a menace while texting and the aerial looks rather odd sticking out.
All in all, a cheap phone with decent service and features. The flip-out looks classy and the green backlight makes it easier to read at ...

Advantages: very light Disadvantages: none come to mind
This phone i would say for the price is the best buy currently on the market. I brought the phone on pay as you go package from BT cellenet and have never looked back, it costed £70. It has many features such as a dictonairy which will check text messages. All features are easy to get to through the use of the central menu buttons. It has an onboard alarm plus clock, which works very well. The ring tones range from Bach to little jingles, there are ... ...tones on different people so you know who's ringing you. This comes in very handy for people such as your boss who sometimes you might not want to answer! You can also have different people on hold at the same time, plus the use of a function called the scratchpad where you can input a number into the phone while talking on it. The flip down panel protects the main buttons so accidental calling can be avoided. The only buttons on the outside are ...
