Advantages: Small, lightweight, and attractive. Very good camera quality.
Disadvantages: Sound quality poor. Not as many functions as you would expect from a modern phone - expecially considering the price.

I have bought this phone relativly recently on Three. It came free as part of a contract. I'm not going to go into all of the specifications and sizes etc... as this is all avaliable off the manufactures website. Instead, I am going to give my personal opinion on the phone. The camera seems to take good quality photos but I have yet to do use it for video calls. This is becuase I do not have access to these features why I live becuase of reception issues. Disadvantages: doesn't have real sound ringtones (only polyphonic) and no front screen

I got the NEC 338 because I lost my LGU880 & it was on contract and not insured. The NEC 338 was the only 3 mobile that was reasonably priced and reasonably functional or aesthetically pleasing. I am very pleased with it. The phone is small enough to fit in all pockets easily and leave room for other things. It has a big screen. ...This is an amazing phone for the price. I have owned one for just under 2 years now. (I have just changed to an NEC e338). I paid £40 when I bought it on Virgin Mobile PAYG. The main qualities are its size and ease of use. A monkey could learn how to use this phone. However, a monkey might find it hard to text with it as the keys are quite close together. I am NOT a monkey but I still have some difficultly. Another thing which makes it hard to text is the fact there is a slight pause. This means that you cannot text really quickly as it misses letters. For making and receiving calls this phone is great (except for poor reception) but don't expect much more for you money. It has an alarm which works even when the phone is turned off but thats about the only feature. I'm getting the impression this phone was designed by monkeys for use... Read review
