Well after reading countless reviews on the NEC E616Vcamera phone, i decided to buy it. I noticed that the majority of reviews from Ciao and other sites were pretty negative! But i still bought it today from Carphone warehouse for £34.99 in total, as i traded in my ancient Siemens C45! (i was suprised that they accepted it for a trade in!)
Features:
Duel cameras on both sides of the flip 'photo light' for poor light conditions 65,556 colours (fast camera tracking) 15 frames per second cideo recording video player mp3/wma player simple bluetooth (limited functions, no file transfer to other mobile devices, but headsets are fine)
and many others...
You also get a hands-free kit, charger, hand-free kit, USB cable for file transfer (pics and movies), CD-ROM software, two batteries (slim and large (for extended battery life) and a welcome pack.
Overall i really like this phone so far. The camera produces very good quality pictures resulting in good file transfers to the PC. You have to appreciate the fact that NEC have provided us a free usb cable and software, other companies would never dream of it for budget reasons. But it comes in handy so no more 'text-the-phot-to-my-e-mail-inbox-for-transfer', well thats qhat i had to do anyway.
The battery may be a little poor but so far it hasent failed on me yet! But always remember that to charge and discharge the battery (as in charge it-use it until it dies) several time until the battery can reach it's maximum performance!
I have little negativities about this phone, but the '3' network is pretty poor, it may display a full signal but it doesn't always mean that you will get to make a call. But most of the time you can. It's a shame as other network providers are very good with coverage and signal, but the '3' network has to improve fast for obvious reasons!
But for cheap calls even out-side of your call/text package and bundled hardware and software, you can't beat a deal like this.
Okay the battery may be poor, but it happens to many other phones like my £100 Motorola E365 if you over-use it for hours on end.
Get it while you can because they are suprisingly selling out fast; just four units left when i got to carphone warehouse!
Alan :-)

Seems like a good all round phone from the spec.! -CH

Advantages: Pretty Much Everything Disadvantages: Screen gets easily clogged with dust, battery life is pretty average when you watch videos/use the camera, build feels a little flimsy
