When I was searching for a good deal on a new mobile, I expected to be offered a standard technological mobile at around the price of £100. Then I heard a rumor that the new video phone network 3G, were selling a brand new phone pact full of technology for the unbelievable price of £45, and that was including the £15 credit. The features on this phone included: MP3 Player MP4 Player Internet Email Sim Removable memory stick (upgradeable) Integrated video camera with zoom Video calls Video recording Camera stills Bluetooth technology And the other entire standard mobile features Handset also comes with charging cable, 2 batteries, 1 large, 1 small, USB datatransfer cable, and PC software installation disk. No way was this only £45, so I had to get one there on the spot. I got home, opened the thing up and new this was an excellent piece of technology. All my mates bought one shortly after being told about the super deal, and we just couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the phone was, for the incredibly low price. It must have taken us weeks to get over the fantastic deal. It was that good!!!!! The phone may be slightly bigger than an average mobile, but when taking into account that it has so many advanced features and is a video camera for god’s sake, u can easily forgive NEC for the slightly bigger size. The reception is great when in signal range, but as the company is still new and in early days, there isn’t as larger signal range, so you may find yourself in some blank spots at time to time. One other issue, and probably the biggest talked about, is the way credit is used and put on your phone. The minimum amount allowed to be transferred onto your phone is £15, and even then you have to choose in advance what your credit will be spent on. Then to top it off, any credit you have not used after a month of having the credit on your phone, 3G will reclaim this. The rules are strict, and people should consider this before buying this phone. When people have a pop at my phone at the size etc, I just show them the fantastic features that none of their phones possess, and they go away feeling like they picked the wrong phone to argue with. Seriously people, if you can still get this great offer, do get yourself one of these, you won’t be disappointed!!!
