...Truly outstanding - there is no bass better than this for any headphones under 100 pounds and there is definitely no better bass in this price range. It uses special patent pending technology to create this awesome experience (bass damping and baffling I believe). The rest of the sound range is of a similarly high caliber, and there is no tinny or muddy noise here. You'll have to break in the headphones (blast some music out of them for a while) before they'll start to sound properly good - well, according to my friend anyway. There is also no distortion, thanks to the neodymium magnets.
Comfort
This aspect is probably the only one that I think needs improvement - but that's what the PX200's are for. It fits comfortably on your head and the earcups fit reasonably well. They are rather flat so it will not be the best fit...

Advantages: Incredible sound, comfortable, case included Disadvantages: Not as compact as earphones, not soundproof
...Sennheiser have a great reputation for making great benchmark headphones, and this reputation is added to with the PX100. Given 5 star and rated as best budget headphones by 'What hi-fi?', I strong urge you to consider buying new headphones.

The quality of sound is signifcantly better than that supplied...

Advantages: well built, look good, great sound quality, comfy to wear Disadvantages: cost
...Think of a name of a headphone manufacturer, any name and I can bet that Sennheiser will not be one that springs to mind immediately after all with so many variations out there on the market the more well known Sony, Plantronics, Creative that sell for less tend to be the headphone of choice when looking to pick up a budget set.
I decided to splash out somewhat on the Sennheiser PX100 for use with my cheap as chips MP3 player and paid £30 for them direct from Sennheiser.
With an adjustable strap to hold the headphones to your head the actual speakers are larger than the actual 'buds' that come with things like an i-Pod or Playstation Portable and instead of sitting in the ear fit snugly around the lobe. The unit folds down neatly and come in a solid case to make them more portable than the ancient 1980's headphones that would snap...
