Advantages: I feel this processor cheep and speedy.
Disadvantages: not so specific

...Different processor i used in my professional life, this processor is compatibly give better performance. This is a speedy processor and work efficient while in development processes. Many applications work fine in these applications. It will be released in two models, the X7900 and the X7800. These will feature an 800 MHz FSB. The X7800 will be clocked at 2.6 G Hz and will cost around $795. The X7900 will be clocked at 2.8 G Hz, but its cost is unknown, but expect it to be more than 1000 dollars per CPU in packs of 1000. The Core 2 processor does not require the use of DDR2. While the Intel 975X and P965 chip sets require this memory, some motherboards and chip sets support both the Core 2 and DDR memory. When using DDR memory, performance may be reduced because of the lower available memory bandwidth. I love these kind of processors.... Read review

Advantages: Fast speed processer, can run windows vista
Disadvantages: The design

...Quit fast and ready with the protection you need, also this computer is ready for windows for windows vista. so you can update it later on, This computer if runing a 2.8ghz processer so you can easy run a few games if your into that, Also this computer will be able to run windows vista. These computer are easy to update the drivers so it is easy to make this computer faster, but this does not need to be updated for another few years, This computer will also run the Windows 2007 office pack, so you can work faster with this, Tha value for this price is quite good and the manufacturer is one of the best out there at the moment,... Advantages: Dual Core Technology, Fast, The CPU heatsink + fan are quiet
Disadvantages: Be careful with the new S775 socket motherboards when installing the CPU cooler as can bend the mainboard if put to much pressure to lock the 4 locks

...I have used this processor retail version in many a custom built PC that I have done for people. I have tried the D805 (2.66Ghz) and the 3.0Ghz version but for cost and performance this CPU is the one to have for cost and performance in the series. The only problem I can see is the fact that you can get the 900 series version of the 2.8Ghz for a very similar price. The difference between the two are price (but not a lot really a few quid), the core temperature is set lower and the cache, which is double the 800 series version. You get 4Mb instead of 2Mb (or 1Mb per core and 2Mb per core)... I personally would pay the extra money and get the D915 version for a few pounds more, but if it is not available then this CPU is just as good...... Read review
