Advantages: High-quality, good warranty. Disadvantages: Cost, no DVI.
...I've used many NEC monitors; both CRT and nowadays LCD. The 913n was actually recommended to me by a friend, and I'd seen some good reviews elsewhere. Having used it for a while now, I'm very happy with it. I'm into gaming, and this model's colours are very sharp and the overall picture quality is excellent. My only real concern is that it's lacking DVI input, which would have improved its already excellent picture quality. Also, NEC monitors tend to be more expensive than other manufacturers.
Bottom line: I can happily recommend this NEC monitor for those that have the cash - you certainly get what you pay for with the 913n! The warranty package is also good and NEC offer good technical support....

Advantages: Display quality, viewing angles, price Disadvantages: Not quite as bright as some
...For its price, an excellent quality monitor. If you are a graphics designer looking for colour calibrated monitors then go elsewhere, but as an IT Administrator I have two of these on my desk that I use for 9 hours a day.
No eye strain, colour balance is good, image quality is superb. In our office we have over 30 of these and not one has developed a fault, dead pixel or any other problems. The image is consistent from one monitor to another as well (suprisingly uncommon on LCD monitors!)
It could be a little brighter - I have a Dell monitor next to my NECs and its *slightly* brighter - but you only notice this because they're next to each other.
All in, you won't regret spending the money. Decent resolution, decent size at a decent price....

Advantages: Small footprint, easy to set up Disadvantages: Not as clear as a CRT
...A wonderful piece of kit. After reading loads of reviews and comparisons of LCDs on the web, I plumped for the NEC as being the best all rounder (as well as being one of the black ones which matched the rest of my system. I've now been running it for over a year and am still very pleased with it. The display is clear and sharp and doesn't suffer too much from reflections.
Although some complain about the viewing angel, once it's set up and in place I never had any problems with it.
I would definitely recommend this product. I also play games on my PC and have not found any difficulties with the refresh rate.
Delivery for Savastore was very speedy - only two days....
