VERSA L320 is the ultimate desktop replacement featuring all-in-one capabilities combining power, precision, and portability in one machine. The VERSA L320 gives you a choice of pure processing power. A spacious primary hard disk and an optional secondary hard disk offer you more than enough resources to cope with all applications. With its unique 2-bay design, the VERSA L320 has the ability to adapt to all user needs with relative ease. VERSABay IV gives users a wide range of options. The second bay called MultiBay 2 extends this product's flexibility allowing a choice between a floppy disk drive, second battery pack, or weight saving pack. With its vast multimedia capabilities, giving or viewing presentations has never been so easy. The TFT display and TV-out capability also allow easy viewing of any multimedia programs. The VERSA L320 allows you constant contact with anyone anywhere in the world with its built-in 56 K MDC modem as well as optional mini-PCI LAN or wireless LAN.
Advantages: Perfectly adequate features, compact, beautiful design, brand name, cheap, perfect for newbies and undemanding users. Disadvantages: Tinny speakers, fairly short battery life, paltry software bundle could've done with more RAM but that's what you get for the price range.

Advantages: Cheap to upgrade, good features and upgraded its not too slow Disadvantages: Not a laptop to go out and buy new.
...connection.
The laptop is cheap to upgrade. But if you're looking to buy a new laptop then I'd advise to buy one of the 1Gb laptops for around £300-£400 if you're looking for something basic, maybe for school or uni. The C160 is not built for gaming and will simply die under the graphic requirements. It is not a good idea to buy this if you are looking for a laptop to last you as, already at full upgrade it is behind the basic models of today.
However if you have one and are thinking of changing it, I'd advise looking into how cheap it is to upgrade.I found mine very cheap to upgrade and is doing okay for me at University. If memory is what you are looking for I'd advise you to look to upgrade again to a 5100rpm 80Gb HDD instead of replacing the 4800rpm 35Gb HDD. I also upgraded the HDD as it died from old age. I now run a Versa C160 Athlon XP...
