ProSafe line of antennas and accessories for 802.11b and 802.11g devices give you multiple options for maximizing the reach and performance of your wireless infrastructure devices. Every WLAN deployment is unique. When planning a network that incorporates wireless, varying facility sizes, construction materials, distance between transmission points and physical obstructions must be accounted for. With both directional and omni-directional antennas, low-loss cables, mounting hardware, and other accessories, installers can customize a value-priced wireless solution that meets the requirements of even the most challenging applications. The ANT24D18 indoor/outdoor directional antenna provides a 3-in-1 solution for mixed applications in combination with an 802.11b or 802.11g access point or wireless router. One, it delivers extended access point range in a single floor environment ideally positioned in the corner of a building. Two, it functions point-to-point so that you can wirelessly connect LANs between buildings in a campus-type environment. Three, it provides multifloor transmission when placed on a ceiling, as the higher power output extends the range through typical flooring materials. Includes several mounting options (fixed wall, wall adjustable, and pole), cable sold separately.Main Specification:Product DescriptionNETGEAR PROSAFE Indoor/Outdoor Patch Panel - antennaProduct TypeAntennaDimensions (WxDxH)26.3 cm x 4 cm x 26.3 cmWeight1.5 kgDirectivityDirectionalGain14 dBiManufacturer Warranty2 years warranty Antenna & Accessories

...Yet another purchase for the office. The FS524 provides all your networking needs without a high price at £82.
As per my other reviews this is another business offering from Netgear with a very high build quality. Strong as an OX you might say.
The FS524 provides all the normal operations of a standard hub but with the adition of 10 or 100MBps intelligent switching. The unit automatically senses what the network speed of a plugged in device is and adjust accordingly.
All ports on the 524 are auto sensing for uplinks, so there is no need to be pressing buttons or playing with cables.
The other major bonus with the 524 is it comes rack mount ready. Small mounting brackets are provided so you can mount it directly into a standard 19" rack.
The front panel of the 524 is clear and easy to use. There is enough info there to tell you what...

...This is already an END OF LINE Product. You can check this on Netgear. Buy one of the new replacement products and no it is not FWAG114P. This has been EOL for last few months but alot of the people and reputable companies are selling this. Do not fall in their trap. This also has frequest disconnection problems which has been fixed in the new beta software v.29 but I doubt it will work perfect otherwise Netgear would have not ditched this completly.
The new upgrade to this is FVR318 which is decent. Also this product has a tendency to hang and you have to manually disconnect the power for a few mins to reboot. Unless you can access this everyday for reboot and you cannt afford a decent product, then go for this....

Advantages: Cheap, Easy to configure Disadvantages: SFP GBIC ports are shared with copper ports, loud fan.
...I haven't found a cheaper 16 port Gigabit Ethernet switch than this Netgear. This 19" rack or desk mountable switch has 16 copper ports and two SFP GBIC ports. The GBIC ports are shared with copper ports 15 & 16 - so you get to use either or, not both, which is a bit of a shame - but they do say it is a 16 port switch after all... They have at least given you the option of adding either short or long range fibre capability to the switch.
The switch will work out of the box as if it were unmanaged, but then you'd be missing the point...
The switch is manageable via its built in web server, which provides an easy to use interface to all the common functions you would expect - 802.11Q VLAN tagging, Quality of Service, Jumbo frame support, 802.3ad link aggregation. You can upgrade the firmware using the web interface too, keeping...
