Hi all, I'm s_starling7 - what kind of a name is that? sounds like a Red Dwarf reject. Anyway, this is me...here to make friends and enjoy the community (OK, that sounds like a dating line)...I'll think of something better soon.....I hope (!)

This modem/router is excellent - having used it previously for work purposes, I got one to use at home and have not looked back since. Joining the wireless revolution could not have been easier.
It was so easy to set up,simple easy to follow instructions, written in plain English - even a five year-old could understand.
I have found this to be a great choice for a home network, as it saves having to buy a seperate switch to connect all computers and a modem to surf the web. The wireless feature also gives an almost unlimited number of computers the ability to connect.
The security feature was just as easy to set up, and offers all that you could want to secure the whole system.

This is a very brief summary. There are a couple of other reviews of this product which explain the pros and cons in a better way. Assume the likes of me hasn't much of a clue what the internet is about and wouldn't know one end of a jack plug from a USB2 socket and then help me to get to where you are in your surfing experience.
Advantages: stylish, robust, wide range of features, WiFi and wired connectivity Disadvantages: drops connection during lightning storms, manual slim on advanced features
