Advantages: WIRELESS; SIMPLE TO USE Disadvantages: GAME DEVELOPERS NOT MAKING MOST OF SIXAXIS
I bought a Playstation 3 around 4 months ago and, so far I can't fault the SIXAXIS controller for what I use it for.
They've bascally kept the original Playstation 2 controller but made it wireless and added the SIXAXIS system to it.
This is a motion sensor that is built in to the controller which senses which way you are leaning the controller and moves as you do but to be honest I found this pretty pointless due to not needing it at all, it just makes the game so much harder.
I've tried using it with a few games and with some it's better than others but I still stick to the original normal controls as I find them a lot easier to use.
So quite frankly my opinion is, I'm glad they've kept the controller the same as from the PS2 but thought that the addition of the SIXAXIS system was a bit of a waste of time unless the game ...

the range of the given device is extremely huge. its moulds into your hand and it's way better than the ps3 controller. you can get different colours like green, black and white. It's wireless so there won't be soo many cables blocking the path between the controller and the console which will result in your parents stacking over and getting angry. it is very comfortbale to hold and its a very light accessory for playing. how ever for driving games i think a lot better choice would be the driving wheel but everyone had their opininion on how they like to play. dual shock function is one of thebest features you can get from the controller excpet the easiness of play and the weight. the durabiity is quite long and it does not break easily. ...

This is a great controller jus like the classic ps1/ps2 the design stayed the same. This is the perfect controller i can not say anything about the slick design.
As you may know this controller is wireless so you may use it from newere in the room so no messy
wires hanging around. And the batttery lasts very long i dont have to charge it very often but i dont play hours every day either.
Only bad this about this controller is that unlike the ps1/ps2 controllers this does not have dual shock so no rumble :(.This is because sony could not get rights for the technology. Sony what happened?
Well good news this controller is being released again next year as Dual Shock 3 is comming out. So if you can wait i strongly urge you wait for it to come out as it is a great feature. The feeling for the game is lost without dual shock. Need ...
