...This is not netgears finest product I have owned. The router seems to lose connection periodically and needs to be reset 2 or 3 times a day. I had the original product replaced by retailer but after a couple of days of everything being fine the problem appeared again I have emailed Netgears Customer service but still waiting for reply. I have used netgear products before and never had any problems with them before. The router does feature full 54 mbps for Ian over Wireless and also has four wired ports for connection to the device. It also features all of the latest wireless security technologies the admin setup page is also easy to use and setup security functions. If netgear can sort the problem of it resetting then the product is good value for money....

...When recently needing to upgrade my Netgear DG834 router to a wireless router, I had no difficulty in deciding which company to go for. Netgear are renowned for their well built and extremely reliable networking devices. The DG834G turned out to be no exception. Setting up is extremely easy if following the supplied cd containing a manual and installation instructions. After inputting your broadband account details into the router's memory, you're away. Since then I haven't needed to touch the router at all and it has kept a connection for the 3 months that I've had it without a problem. However, the only slight problem I have found with this router is that the connection can drop occasionally due to the broadband connection being less than 512mb.
