This card is fantastic. The range of reception is the best I've found for my laptop at home and college.

Advantages: Good range and software. Disadvantages: Unsigned driver.
...installed onto our machines. The netgear software does not remember the key between nodes or sessions. I get around this by disabling the netgear stuff and allowing XP to handle it.
On a more positive note this card allows me to connect to public nodes whilst out-and-about working in Leicester, (hello to anyone from there) I get very good value at starbucks.
All in all, I love my little card, despite the negatives above! Thank you netgear. more

The only problem for me is that my colleges netwrok is designed for clients using JUST windows, this card comes with it's own software. The problem is that the school network uses just one WEP key for several nodes. We are not allowed to know the key, but have to get it installed onto our machines.
