A good overall game, once you get used to the new passing system using the right analogue stick to control the players' sticks and the left analogue stick to control their movement. If you've played previous installments of the series this can be tricky at first but soon becomes more intuitive than previous control sytems (in my opinion!).
The dynasty mode continues to impress in this version, bringing the new salary cap into play in salary negotiations makes a good extra dimension for the management side of the game. The dynasty mode will keep you playing this game for months on end
Graphically, the series continues to impress with player movements and faces being realistically modelled for a more in depth gaming experience.
Well worth buying for any hockey fan new to the EA NHL franchise, or for an old campaigner looking to update their game.
