Granted, ice-hockey isnt exactly this countrys most popular sport, but that doesnt mean you wont like NHL2K6. why? because its too entertaining you cant help yourself.

HOW DOES IT PLAY????
....This is what all of the EA launch games should of been like, its packed with features that ooze fun, for starters, the basic player and team controls are so easy to pick up,youll be pulling off some impressive moves and goals in a couple of hours-which is fun and great.....However,there are also a multitude of skill moves and on-the-fly tactical changes that can be learnt and mastered, which means you can get more enjoyment out of a game already dripped with gratifaction.
...before you know it youll be powering down the ice, shoulder barging opponents, flicking the puck into space all of which made the game more involving for me... you get to tinker with the line changes and defence tactics, you never get confused, all this add up too a game thats as close to reality as it can get, with some frenetic mathes..

GIVE ME FEATURES!!!!
...This game contains all of the game modes it has in the XBOX version, including Franchise, roster changes, create a plyer, a new feature called Crease controll, which lets you take control of your goaltender when the other team are attacking....just click on your right stick and a V shape will appear in front of your keeper.
....all the real-life NHL and International teams(along with ALL-STAR lineups)are present and correct, while some sparkling presentation-and great commentary, make this one thrilling and exciting product..

GRAPHICS ANY GOOD!!!!THIS IS 360
...There are some shortfalls,too, for starters the graphics are only slightly more impressive then the Xbox version, and thats in HIGH-DEF..you wont notice in STANDARD...and the puck sometimes seems to be drawn magnetically too a nearby stick.

conclusion....NHL2K6 is a refreshing diversion that will provide you with weeks of gaming enjoyment and intensity, months if online..it may lack the eye-popping visuals of the other launch titles, but if your looking for a sports game thats fun in the purest sense, then you will be hard pressed to beat it..
