When a company is described as a communication specialist you would, at the least, expect them to communicate !
We have been NTL customers for a couple of years and have both Cable TV and our phone service through them. Mostly we have very few problems but when one does crop up it is very difficult to get someone to talk to you.
They have this call waiting system whereby every 5 seconds (or so it seems) this Irish lady comes on to tell you that your call will be answered shortly - DON'T YOU BELIEVE IT !!
NTL have re-defined the word shortly - try in 30 minutes !! The trouble is that you don't dare put down the phone incase you were next in line !
When you eventually get through, they are very helpful and sort your problem out efficiently but ooohh, the sheer agony of waiting with the phone to your ear for so long.
My best advise is that their services are great but their answering system shouldn't even be contemplated unless you have half an hour that needs wasting !!
