Advantages It is free
Disadvantages Only to existing customers
Having been a customer of NTL for a few years I was pleased to say the least when NTL offered its free internet access for existing customers. So easy to set up and an 0800 number to boot, cant complain at that. The line rental is on a par with BT and although there were teething problems in the early days, it has been a long time since i have got a dodgy connection. All in all a great deal, if you are not an NTL customer then i would seriously consider making enquiries with them just to get the free access. It has saved me about £25 a month.

broadband or dial-up?? broadband has never been free from ntl to my knowledge
