Well, looks like I’ve been watching the shopping channels again… Nads is always being advertised on one of the many channels, and, like most things, it always looks amazing. I’d always wondered how on earth something made from sugars, oils, and other natural ingredients, could produce such results. It was only a matter of time before I found out, wasn’t it?
THE HISTORY OF NADS
Sue Ismiel wanted to make her own hair remover, as her six year old ... ...Some might question whether a female ought to be removing hairs from any part of their body at the tender age of six, but if anything, Sue is to be applauded for her ingenuity. After finding nothing in the shops, she went to her own kitchen, and began randomly mixing whatever she found until she hit on the natural mixture she sells worldwide – Nads (N.B. it’s named after her daughter, Nadine).
WHAT ACTUALLY IS IT?
Nads is a green, sticky substance. ...

Smooth legs! Review ofNad's No Heat Hair Remover Waxby
Anne107
Advantages: No heating, Easy, Quick, Dissolves in water Disadvantages: Initial price, could have dome with more strips
General info
I brought Nads No Heat Hair Remover Wax from Boots for £14.99. Its a bit more pricey that other home waxing kits I have brought but as I used less that a quarter or a tub for my legs and bikini line I think that its actually better value than some of the cheaper products.
As well as the tub of wax you get 5 waxing strips, a spatula to apply the wax with, some cleansing wipes and an instruction booklet.
How to use
The wax is meant ... ...British winter weather is very different to the weather in Australia so you might find that the wax is too heard to use. You can put it in the microwave for 15 secs to soften it up but as I don't have a microwave I popped mine on the radiator for a few minutes. The consistancy you are aiming for is like syrup. You apply the wax by smoothing a thin layer on to the area you wish to remove hair from in the direction of the hair growth with the spatula. ...

Advantages: easy to use, natural, no heating Disadvantages: heating is needed if you live in the cold uk, hurts a bit, pricey in places
Now lets get personal guys.
I normally wax my own body, yup I do the whole works, legs, bikini, and under-arms. Luckily I have fair hair so it doesn’t show when it is growing in, but waxing at home saves me a lot of money.
I recently bought Nad’s Australian wax on Ebay from a real life Ozzy. All in all including postage from Australia it cost me about £16.
Now if you think about it, a half leg wax costs about a tenner, a bikini and ... ...all a hair-trimming session in a beautician can come up to £22. I’ve tried lots of waxing products and I have to say that the strips don’t really do it for me, they are too skimpy on the wax and are not really value for money. Also they say that they are re-useable but hey, once you have a wax strip covered in hairs do you really think that it is going to be able to remove anymore.
I have also tried that Immac waxing device that you ...

Advantages: not runny, removes hair and not the skin Disadvantages: can't find it in the High Street
I saw a Nad’s hair removal system in QVC and decided to give it a chance in order to continue my long search for the perfect hair removal method. Since it was the day’s special value item, thus greatly reduced, and they have a 30-day money back guarantee, I could test it and if I didn’t like it I would just get my money back.
The Kit consisted of a 350gr pot of the gel with its spatula, 73gr of kiwi-chamomile smoothing lotion, ... ...facial wand kit (facial wand with travel mirror on the reverse, 5 preparatory towelettes and 10 small cloth strips), you also get a booklet with illustrated instructions.
The gel is made with fructose, glucose, sucrose, water, molasses, honey, vinegar and lemon juice so don’t store it where the children can get to it or they’ll eat it. Because of these ingredients, you don’t need to heat it in the microwave or in hot water and ...

I have only had my legs professionally waxed once, years ago. At the time I was amazed how this was removed all of the hairs in one go and they didn`t grow back for a few weeks. That was the one and only time, I didn`t think it hurt much, it was... more
Well basically I bought this and think it is a total waste of money. I paid £99 for this item and thought it would be worth it, and would save a lot in the long run as I wouldn't need any other hair removal products.
