Advantages: Reduces shaving rash, lasts a long time Disadvantages: Quite pricey, and not very effective on ingrown hairs
I used to use a similar product which cost £14.99 for 100ml and which I could only find in a beauty salon which has recently closed. I bought this from a supermarket at £9.99 for 125ml which already seemed like an improvement.
To begin with, I thought the design was very impressive as you are only required to spray the product over the skin, which is quick and very convenient.
Product claims
This product claims to minimize several things:
Ingrown hairs - I epilate and shave different areas, techniques which are both big causes of ingrown hairs. To begin with, I was simply spraying the product onto the skin as directed. However, I found that this made no difference to the amount of ingrown hairs I was getting. I tried spraying the solution onto a cotton wool pad and rubbing it over the skin instead. This made some ...
Advantages: Works For Shaving Rashes, Easy To Apply Disadvantages: Expensive, Nasty Smell, Doesnt Cure Ingrown Hairs
Before you read this I think that it is important to know that I really suffer when it comes to in growing hairs. So although this product didn't work for me, those who are less prone may find it to have a different effect. Eventually I was shaving my legs so often that each time I did so I would get rashes on my legs. I knew that the better option would have been to resort to waxing however because I needed to do my legs so often I had no time to let the hairs grow long enough to get my legs waxed.
Luckily a friend recommended that I give Nads a try so I decided that it would be ...
Advantages: Natural ingredients and cotton backing strips Disadvantages: Little bit expensive for the amount of product you receive
Nad's Facial Wand Kit
I bought this seemingly miraculous product from Boots a little while ago in a hope to make annoying hair removal that bit easier. I've had mixed results from this product but will try to include them all.
Product Appearance:
Firstly, I want to commend the developers on their discreet packaging technique. The packaging simply says 'Nad's Facial Wand', nothing overly obvious like the Boots Expert range packaging. This could be for wrinkles as far as any other shoppers know. The wand is seemingly small and features a small twisty bottom to release the wax. It's a transparent green colour and has a slanted edge at the top where the wax comes out of the tube for precise application. In the kit you receive:
* 6g Nad's Natural Hair Removal Gel in Slimline Wand.
* 4 Nad's Cleansing Wipes.
* 10 Backing ...
