Naiko NR050

Advantages: Great value and performs well
Disadvantages: Cutelary rack will need replacing sooner rather than later (costs about £5)

...This is uncannily similar to the Naiko DW080, which is made by Midea, a massive chinese white goods company. You may find the Naiko version cheaper. They also make a model for Buamatic which I understand is much more expensive than the Proline I own the Naiko labelled machine and have had it for 4 years. It has proved to be an excellent value machine which has performed really well. You can connect to the hot tap if the supply is less than 60c, which saves washing time and if you have an effeciant boiler, money and CO2! Downside is the cutelery rack which does break at the bottom allowing knives to slip through. I have just replaced mine from the Curreys online parts shop for about £5 inc postage. I bought the Buamatic labelled one which was the cheaper version.. So all in all I would recommend but expect to replace the cutelary rack... Read review

Advantages: It washes dishes

...As a housewarming and christmas present my grandma bought me a dishwasher. She got it from a wholesalers and I don't know how much it was exactly but it was under £200. She bought this particular one because our house has the smallest kitchen ever. She told me I had to have a dishwasher, even if it meant sacrificing the kitchen to fit it in. I played with the dimensions but all I could fit in the tiny room without having no sink was a slimline. So this was it. It arrived packaged in polystyrene and encased in cardboard then it had those annoying plastic strips tightly around it so you can't get into it. After fighting with the plastic strips for a few minutes I got into it and found inside a white standard looking slimline dishwasher.
