Hard As Nails
Review of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails by
lozzy_lou178
Advantages: Strengthens nails over time
Disadvantages: Peels off
...on boots.com and came across Sally Hansen Hard As Nails. I purchased it for 4.25 from Boots. I think the picture above must be an old one as the product is now in a normal looking nail varnish bottle with a long silver handle. (See picture)
The varnish looks as though it has a slight pink hint to it, which I think it has. This helps to make the varnish look more natural on your nail.
The varnish is very easy to apply and has the same consistency ... ...give your nail two coats, but I think that one coat is plenty. The result is that you have nice shiny, natural looking nails. But does it do as it should?
I have been using this product for around two months and I have to say that I have noticed that my nails are a lot stronger. They don't split at the edges as often as they used to. But the only problem that I have is that it peels off very, very easily, and I can never resist peeling off nail ...

Cubic Zirconia more like!
Review of Sally Hansen Diamond Strength by
Lizamabug
Advantages: ???
Disadvantages: Expensive, potent, poor results
I bought two bottles of Sally Hansen Diamond Strength instant nail hardener in an offer from Boots. I was going to buy a bottle of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails because my nails have been really weak lately and I've had great success with it in the past. But I saw this "better" version complete with shiney bottle and bits of real diamond on offer at 12 pounds for 2 bottles and decided to "upgrade". Normally this product retails at 7.95 per 13ml bottle ... ...Nails and Maximum Growth by Sally Hansen I assumed it would simply be a case of following the directions and having lovely strong nails again. This is a brand I've always trusted and recommended to loads of friends so naturally I didn't stop to think this particular product would be any different. How wrong I was.
The directions for use are simple; shake gently. Apply 1 - 2 coats to bare nails. Wear alone or under nail colour. Straight forward? ...

Doesn't Do What It Says On The Bottle!
Review of Sally Hansen Maximum Growth by
louisemarie1760
Advantages: Might work in long run
Disadvantages: Didn't work for me, expensive
...this is one of 3 Sally Hansen products I bought.
The price for a bottle is very expensive, usually around £7, but I thought, hey, it will be worth it. Wrong. It helped grow my nails a little, I will grant it that, but not to the extent it claims.
I also hate the way the coating chips off. When it catches on something or starts to peel, you have to peel the coating off, and it looks like you are peeling your nails ( getting me some very strange ...

SALLY HANSEN CLAWS FOR ALL
Review of Sally Hansen Nailgrowth Miracle by
punt
Advantages: STRENGTHENS NAILS PREVENTS CHAPPING AND SPLITTING
Disadvantages: NONE
I am new to sally hansens nail care products, and i am really enthusiastic about their miracle growth nail polish. there are many products on the market that claim to stop chapping and splitting, and strengthen your nails.
However, this product is the one and only nail laquer that has fullfilled its promise. It is a fragrance free laquer which is easy to put on, and gives an even coverage. for me it took approximatley 10 days to see results, with ... ...give them a manicure using sally hansen miracle growth treatment. When they have seen the results they have been as surprised as me, and a few have went out and bought the product for themselves. I know this product is abit on the pricey side , but you dont need to use it all the time, and it only takes a little bit to achieve an even coverage and great results. ...

Yes, it works!
Review of Sally Hansen Natural Nail Growth Activator by
curiousgirl
Advantages: it actually works
Disadvantages: too expensive and watery
...liquid in it. In true Sally Hansen style, the instructions are printed clearly on back of the bottle.
USING IT
I have used Sally Hansen for more that three years now, I have used Teflon Tuff (wonderful), Hard as Nails (doesn't work) and Maximum Growth (really, really good) previously but, I stopped buying it regularly because of the price. My sister is a nail bitter and she needs products like this to help her nails grow. Like my sister I used ... ...looking nails by using the Sally Hansen products I mentioned earlier. Recently, I started losing my nails for no apparent reason. We were out shopping on Oxford Street when we bought this and at first we were quite taken aback by the price and spent a while debating on whether or not it is worth the price…who want to pay £7.00 for a nail polish?!
We eventually decided to buy it since we are both really into Sally Hansen products and are very aware ...
