Very surprisingly after the years of nibbling and torture my nails have endured, they are extremely strong so I can't see any evidence of damage but I wouldn't advise it for anyone who has quite soft, weak, brittle nails who only wants to remove standard nail varnish, I would advise them to use the moisture balance remover or something less harsh. ...I also looked on the Jeyes website and it doesn't mention their products 'not' being tested on animals there either! Directions of use It says that you wipe over each nail with a single stroke of the pad, then work back over the nails with a firm rubbing action on each, to remove nail varnish.
