OPI works another miracle!
Review of OPI Nail Polish Remover by tasha_92

Advantages: acetone free
Disadvantages: none

why I bought it I first got a mini bottle of this from my mum. And i feel in love with it because it doesn't hurt your cuticles. Because I bite my nails andnail beds i often have cut on my cuticles and i find with normal nail polish removers it really painful. What it looks like It comes in a clearish bottle with a black cap. The actual liquid is a redish colour. how to use take the cap off and tip a bit on to a cotton wool pad or *OPI lint ...
...3 seconds and wipe off, do it again if needed. acetone free this product is acetone free unlike most nail polish removers this is better because acetone is a chemical that when you use it on your nail not only does it strip the nail varnish off it also strips your nail. So this may make it weak and also sting the cuticle and nail beds. And since it has no acetone you can use this on flalse nails. This hasgot Aloe Vera in it to soothe the cuticle ... Read review

remover
Review of Sainsburys Nail Polish Remover by danniell

Advantages: gets it off
Disadvantages: slowly

This nail polish remover costs just over £1 which i suppose isnt bad for a large bottle like this but i dont think it is very good, dont get me wrong it will remove your nail varnish but it realy does struggle. My nails were painted a dark plum colour, it had began to chip a bit at the ends of the nails and looked horrid so i brought this nail polish remover to get the rest of it off. The bottle has a screw on lid which obviously you have to open, ...
...top of the bottle and tiped it quickly upside down and then right side up again there was a circle of nail polish remover on my cotton wool. I rubbed the coton wool up and down my thumb nail and could see the plum colour coming off onto the cotton wool, it was removing it. After doing this the coton wool was covered i plum nail varnish but there wasnt enough space left on the cotton wool to do another nail, so i had to use a different piece of ... Read review

Wipe Away
Review of Superdrug Nail Polish Remover Pads by piggypine

Advantages: Easily removes nail varnish, relitively mess free
Disadvantages: Leaves hands greasy

...to be a fan of Superdrug nail polish remover pads. Coming in a small round tub with an unscrew lid you get 40 or so cotton like pads which are infused with the nail varnish remover. There are 2 specific varieties available, there is the original "nail polish remover pads" which come in a lilac container while the "nourishing nail polish remover pads" which are said to contain added vitamin E and Aloe Vera come in a pink container, both are only ...
...(original) or £1.39 (nourishing) Both are suitable for use on the nails of your hands or feet. The pads themselves all have a good amount of the polish remover within them, they aren't soaked in liquid as such and aren't dripping wet but they are damp to the touch and will leave residue on your skin which needs to be washed off, believe me you don't want to absently bite on a nail later in the day to taste the polish remover, it's vile and you wont ... This nail polish works, but no frills
Review of Sainsburys Nail Polish Remover by sadoldbag

Advantages: Cheap, easy to get hold of
Disadvantages: Smelly, bit astringent, not very effective with thick or dark polish

I just bought some of this as I had run out of my usual brand of those little pads that come in a plastic tub, and I was in the supermarket. So this is easy to get hold of, and cheap. Really pretty cheap - £1.20-something I think for a 200ml bottle. First thing to say about it is it does work. It gets your nail polish off. But it does struggle with thick, dark polish and you have to leave the cotton wool on your nail a few seconds then wipe off ...
...can often get away with one pad for a whole hand, but with this I needed a new piece of cotton wool almost for every nail if they were dark red, as it seemed to smear as much as it removed otherwise. It left my nails seeming quite dry, unlike those more expensive moisturising brands, and smelled quite horrid, but it did the job I bought it for, so I suppose I can't complain. I will be going back to my usual brand next time though - the extra few ... Read review

Tesco Nail Polish Remover - Why pay more?
Review of Tesco Nail polish remover by ivytoad

Advantages: Really effective!
Disadvantages: Dries out your nails a little bit

...varnish remover is exclusive to Tesco shops (but lets be honest, who hasn't got a Tesco shop near them these days?) so it is easy to get a hold of. Tesco also do online shopping now which can be delivered to your door, so you can also get it online at the Tesco website. I would highly recommend this nail polish remover, I don't see the point of buying the more expensive brands when this one is just as effective. With a 250ml sized bottle, it will ... Read review
