Advantages Lovely shimmer, good quality

Disadvantages None

If you're lucky enough to be skiing in Aspen this season well then I am very jealous but I have also been experiencing Aspen, albeit in this lovely nail polish colour from Nails Inc!! I wore this colour quite a bit over the Christmas party season as it really isn't an everyday nail polish, its a bit too sparkly for that. I don't really wear nail varnish on my hands either, I don't know why, I just really don't like it on my fingernails but I do however like it on my toes and it's great to wear with Christmas dresses and lovely strappy heels.

To give you a bit of background on the company:

"Nails Inc were launched in 1999 as a nail bar chain offering quick, high quality branded nail services. Apparently, according to an article I read on the company they, "spotted a gap in the market for professional high quality manicures for women with little time to spare and provide the ultimate in affordable luxury with the trademark 15 minute manicure - nails inc's customers can always find time for a quick pamper." They began with just three stores in London but now have 65 outlets nationwide and offer their products in Debenhams, House of Fraser, Harvey Nichols and Topshop to name just a few."

I'm quite addicted to Nails Inc nail varnishes now as I think they are really good quality and the best nail varnishes I have used, and I have used a lot in my time. The varnish itself is really thick and so not only does it go on your toes well but it stays there for a lot longer than cheaper nail varnishes and doesn't chip very easily either which is nice. I can do my toes, which, lets be honest do get in a lot of situations where they could chip, and the varnish will last and look nice for well over a week. Then, the nice thing about this polish too is that when you touchup you can just paint the bit that has chipped and don't need to do the whole nail again as the thickness allows you to do this without your nails looking all uneven. Maybe its this colour as it's quite a bold, deep colour but I find its very good for touchup.

This Aspen colour is described as a deep satin red shade. It has a lovely shimmer to it and almost different levels to it as it really does sparkle in the light. THis is why I loved it for the party season and also find it a really good night-time nail polish as well. The red is really striking and bold.

The bottle it comes in is like all the other Nails Inc bottles, very stylish looking in my opinion. The bottle is quite small and round and the top that contains the brush is the same size as the bottle and not smaller like some nail varnish bottles. This actually makes holding the brush a lot easier and applying the varnish quite easy too. The top is a shiny metal colour and looks very sleek and polished. The bottle is then see through to show the colour of the nail varnish inside. It features little images of hands on the front too which is part of their logo so you know you are buying a nails inc product.

A bottle of this Aspen colour will cost you in £11 and in my opinion is well up to their high standards.
