There was a giant flesh-eating winged beast flitting around my room earlier, it was one of those you can't see to catch but they sound big, and they always zip past your face just as you're drifting off to sleep. Those are why I hate summer. Those and wasps, who always ambush me just as I'm walking past someone so that I look like a psycho flapping at something no one else can see....
Anyway. Nair. This stuff is rubbish. I'll tell you the story of why.
One day I decided I was bored of shaving. I was going on "holiday" soon and anyone who has tried to shave their legs in the tiny shower cubicle of a static caravan (and suffered the resulting injuries) will understand the sudden allure of waxing... So I bought some wax strips. I had to wait for about two weeks for the hair to grow to the right length first, and then none of it came off my legs. The only thing that happened was that my legs were now covered in sticky blue goop that smelled a bit of aloe vera. Oh, and THE PAIN.
= The Sachet
===Next time I went on holiday, I bought some of this stuff. It was cheap from Wilkos at about 79p for 2 sachets. Naturally, you can't actually open the sachet with that little perforated bit they put on there, so you have to remember to rummage around the house for scissors before you've taken your jeans off, or it could look quite odd.
= The Smell
It doesn't smell too bad. Well. It's not a particularly offensive smell. It's the kind of smell you really wish you could go-go-gadget your nose away from, but which you put up with since you expect that kind of thing from a chemical designed to melt the hair off your skin.
Uses
==It says on the packet you can use it most places except your face and your rude bits. I put some on my bikini line anyway because I live on the edge, me.
The sachet only gives you enough to do up to the knee of both legs with a little bit left over for bikini line, so if you wanted full-leg hair removal, it's lucky they give you 2 sachets stuck together. It's pretty straight forward - just smear it on.
So there you are, standing legs akimbo in the bathroom wondering what the hell to do with your time. You can't bend your legs or you'll smear all the cream. You can only realy move in a crablike motion in case you get Nair in your rude bits, and cause some sort of emergency.
You're supposed to leave it on for about 10 minutes. It says in big letters DO NOT EXCEED 15 MINUTES. Usually when it says that kind of thing on hair dye and stuff, I ignore it and leave bleach on my hair for about an hour in the hope that I won't have to do it another three times. But, this said it in CAPITAL LETTERS so I figured I should do as it says. I've never been good under pressure.

When you rinse it off, instead of being smooth, you get left with this weird slimy residue on your legs, which does make your legs nice and soft once they're dry, but when you're washing the stuff off it's a bit gross. The hair just doesn't come off though. It says just to rinse it off and not to rub, but the only way you're going to get any results is to get a flannel or something textured like that and try to rub it off with little circle motions.
The grossest thing is that the hairs just shrivel up and you have to pull them out individually. You shouldn't use this on your bikini line, if only for the fact that pulling out little clumps of shrivelled pubes has got to be the most disturbing experience of your life.
With waxing, you're never going to get 100% of the hair, so at least you can shave or pluck the rest. With this, the slime on your legs, plus the shrivelled patheticness of the hairs mean that any razor glides right over the hair making no difference at all. You could try plucking at them, but there will be a lot, and they generally just fall off, leaving little brown dots on your legs instead of actual hairs.
= Sensitive Skin
I've tried the sensitive version and the regular version and both produced the same degree of itchiness, so I'm not sure what the difference is. Neither did anything for my legs.
Reccomendation?
This is probably the worst thing you can use. It doesn't work, and then when you're left with fluffy legs, you can't even use another method to finish the job. This is the only hair remover that takes TOO long to grow back. It takes up to a week, during which time you have to put up with having legs like a balding teddy bear because the hair is too feeble to be shaved.
I'd suggest just sticking to shaving. Don't be tempted by the cheapness of this stuff. It's not worth it, just get a good razor and it'll last long enough.
Advantages: Long lasting and moisturising Disadvantages: Not kind enough for use on sensitive, dry face
...I spotted these sachets. Nair Sensitive Hair Remover with Rosemary and Soothing Passionflower (manufactured by ARMKEL, LLC*). And at 2 sachets for the price of one (79p) I thought it was worth a try!
***PACKAGING***
You get 30ml of the product in each pretty pink and white sachet, the sachets are joined together, but are perforated to easily separate, and they DO! How many times have you had sachets like that and had to fight and struggle to separate ... ...far as sensitivity is concerned, Nair Sensitive Hair Removal gets top marks for bikini line and legs. The effect was lovely and smooth, and relatively long lasting (compared with other depilatory products). However, this product was not quite sensitive enough for use on my face. I had to remove the product from upper lip about 5 mins after I started because I could feel it start to tingle and sting. But 5 mins wasn’t quite enough to remove ...

Advantages: Slightly Sweeter Smell than Other Brands Disadvantages: Does Not Work!!
I have tried a few different makes and brands of hair removal creams, although I generally prefer shaving, yet as my wedding was approaching, I wanted smoother skin and did not like the thought of having my legs waxed (Yes, I shy away from pain!), so I asked around and was recommended this brand of hair removal cream, So I thought, what harm could there be trying it?
*****The Product Overview*****
This hair removal cream is specially formulated ... ...remove hair from areas such as the legs, bikini area, underarms and even the face! The product sounds sweet smelling with the ingredients of Camellia oil and Yling-Ylang and boasts that it moisterises and exfoliates your skin whilst removing the hair, leaving it soft to the touch. Perfect! Or so I thought...
*****The Actual Product*****
As I tend to stick with sensative creams and lotions anyway, my review for the sensative nature can not be fully ...

...task I decided to try Nair Sensitive Hair Removal Cream. Price It wasn't cheap to buy at around £6 per bottle which if you think about it is £6 for one shave compared to shaving cream and razors which will last you many shaves. The Smell This cream didn't smell very nice and when I had applied it I was hesitant to keep it on for any longer than the recommended time. Applying Applying this cream wasn't hard and didn't take a long time. You simply ... ...contained that are inside the box. The Results Ok so this cream worked on the thinner hairs of my legs, but the courser ones, which are the ones that I wanted to remove in the first place, were not removed at all from my legs. Instead around these areas there were red dots in small patches on my legs, it also left my legs smelling bad (like the cream smelt bad). However it did leave my skin feeling smooth and soft. Afterwards Hair wasn't long on ...

Advantages: Doesn't irritate *sensitive areas* Disadvantages: Bit smelly.
Having been searching for a reasonable way to tame the bikini line on a regular basis, and abandoned shaving (due to very nasty irritation) and waxing (WAY too painful) I tried this one, as it was cheap, and I didn't have to purchase a whole tub of something that might not work due to the 'handy sachet'.
I applied according to instructions, being careful to avoid any *extra sensitive* areas that you are warned about on the back of the sachet, and ... ...into the shower.
Sadly, the cream didn't rinse off very well with only water, and it tells you to definitely NOT use soap, so I used a flannel to try and encourage the cream to part with my skin.....which it did, very happily, taking all the hair with it, bar a few tiny bits where the cream hadn't reached. No irritation, lovely smooth finish, and the smell didn't linger on my skin either. The only disappointment is that the hair grows back quite ...

Advantages: Cheap, nice smell Disadvantages: Not really that great if you have sensitive skin which is a bit stupid considering it is meant for sensitive skin, doesnt remove all the hair
I bought this product because it had 50% extra free in it and it said it was the most gentle formula lotion with botanical extracts for soothing and i have sensitive skin. It said it leave legs totally touchable and is dermatoligist tested. However after the recomended 5-7 mins the hair had not been removed. It said do not exceed 15 mins so I didn't but it didn't half start to tingle and sting and the hair was not fully removed when i wiped it off ... ...which aren't really that sensitive I dread to think how painful it would be on the face! The only good thing is that it has a nice smell. I wouldn't say the cheapness was that good because its a complete waste if its not gonna work. I'd rather paya bit more and have the prodcut do what it says it should .. ...

Advantages: Easy to Use, Good packaging, removes hair Disadvantages: Smells a bit bad
If you ever have the problem of unwanted hair and you are fed up with plucking, waxing and shaving then Nairsensitivehairremover could be the product for you.
It comes in a small twist top bottle, with a built in brush which I find very handy for applying carefully onto my skin. The smell is a little off putting, but not as bad as most hairremoval products and it also disappears after washing off. So for the product itself you spread it on to the area that needs treating and leave for up to 5 minutes. Never exceed that time. If you feel any discomfort then you should wash of immediately. I have fairly sensitive skin and found that this was gentle enough to use for me and cause no irritation at all. It contains special natural oils which help calm the skin.
The result? Completely hair free and smooth skin. Unfortunately it doesn ...

Well i must admit im quite lazy when it comes to shaving my legs, i wear glasses and im blind as a bat without them so you can imagine it in the bath, trying to shave my legs with my glasses steaming up every five seconds, or even in the shower, impossible to see what i am doing with the water splashing everywhere, so i decided to try out other methods, first there was the electrical epilator, that hurt!! then i tried wax strips and i wasnt too keen on them, seemed to use too many, as i looked around superdrug i saw two little sachets of nairsensitivehairremoval creme two for the price of one 99p, bargin i thought, ill give it a go.
Packaging
It comes in a small packet about 15cm long and 6cm wide, Two of them joined together. The packet is white with a pink stripe down the side and nair written in blue, under that in pink is ...
