If you want a nice evening with guys an gals, and you want a flaming way to communicate, you wanna to use those fingers, you wanna use your facial expressions to make your face humorous, eat and drink as much as you like, then yep man! Yeah man yuh come to de right place!
My daughter discovered Nando and decided to treat the family. The minute I walked in the joint! (no no I did not shake my hips as Shirley Bassey did in her song!) I noticed it was a warm friendly family atmosphere. It was magic! The surrounding denotes a Portuguese – Afrikaans atmosphere. There was some beautiful artistic display! Oh gawd, they are so beautiful, you think that you in Portugal!
Ah boy was I glad to be here! That’s the feeling expressed by all of us. We were escorted to our seat arrangement. I could not help noticing the background of Nando.

----I learnt that Nando’s, peri-peri is the original name for burning spices! One of them we know well in this country and that is Chilli! (Hey! I am not talking about one brand; did you know there are several brands of chill?) What they do is mix and marinades the chicken using other ingredients with its traditional Portuguese flavour!
---Chicken is the main meat and it is Fresh 'A' Grade and cook over flaming grills! (heh heh!)
---They do not use any preservatives, colorants or flavourants in basting or sauces.
---They bottled and sell their sauces.

Peri- Peri Chicken is flame grilled and very tasty; menu consists of filleted Chicken Breast Burgers, Chicken Wings. Chicken Breast in Pitta, Platters, Portuguese Salad, Chips, Wine, Chilled drinks and Hot drinks and so on.
So ok you are a vegetarian! Ah hah! You are not left out! There are Veggie Burger, Veggie Pitta, Organic Beanie Burger and Organic Beanie Pitta. Veggie Burger cost from under £3.95, the organic Pitta £4.15
Ok then you have kids under 12! Well you would not be disappointed, there are kiddies’ burgers. With old style chips, breast stripes, from under £3, 95
The meal itself was really delicious, this was the first time I have every tasted Portuguese food and I was not disappointed! I love very hot hot hot Spices! My meal cost under £6.95 including side lines. For side lines you can have famous old chips, spicy rice, coleslaw or corn on the cob. The chicken was very generous.
With the drinks, particularly soft drinks, after paying for you ordered meal, you can top this up as many times as you like! I did after having pepper hot meal!
My sweet ending was delicious too! I had Portuguese coconut tarts! Real tarts too!
Of course you could well imagine how this magic place that thrilled me so, every thing about this place was an experience, being disabled, the toilet was on the ground floor, for those who are actives as birds, you gotta walk up some stairs! The whole place is ideal for all to enjoy!
So if you want a flaming Portuguese cooking then come to Berm Vindo a Nando, there are many branches in the UK and the rest of the world.
The only thing that was missing is dem nice good looking Portuguese men to sing to me and when they look at me, my eyelashes starts to flicker in delight!

the word nando's makes me hungry. I gotta say there is one down the road from me, and love to go back as much as possible, aparts from the price they have the best olives and chicken. I love the way everything is done over the flame, you can see them cooking and they have high cleanliness standards. great review x
