Firstly, the food (mostly chicken!) tastes amazing! I've been to quite a few Nandos throughout the country and I can honestly say the food standard has always been excellent.
-You will be shown to your table by the waiter/waitress -Then after browsing the menu, you go up and order/pay for your food (you need to make sure you tell them how hot you want it!) -You will be given a rooster table stick so the waiterwaitress knows where to serve your food -Help yourself to cutlery and legendary PERi PERi sauce! -If you bought a drink ie; CocaCola, you will be given a glass at the till and is re-fillable
There you have it! Simple! The great thing about Nando's is that its very quick but you don't feel rushed in the sense that you have to leave as soon as the meal has finished. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, with people of all ages.
The first Nando's was launched in 1987 in South Africa. Then 5 years later Nando's came to the UK. Now it is spreading worldwide!
Nando's is really for chicken lovers but also caters for vegetarians. I have actually tried the bean pitta which is really tasty! You can choose side orders and extras for your meal. Apart from the burgers and pittas there is a selection of salads and deserts on the menu. The great thing about Nando's is that you have the option to eat healthy too.
Turn up the heat...
Okay so you think you can handle spicy food? For those of you who aren't afraid of eating fire, the PERi PERisauce can be painfully hot! I love hot food but I couldn't dare have the extra hot sauce! The heat ranges from;
Lemon & Herb or Mango & Lime - This is none spicy Medium - enough to make your lips slightly tingle (safe bet!) Hot- it is what it says it is! Extra Hot - in my opinion this is too hot, to the point where your mouth goes numb so what's the point because you can't taste anything!
PERi PERi sauce was founded back in the 15th century and still to this day is a secret recipe.
If you don't fancy eating in one of the restaurants then Nando's provide a take away service. This is great for a Saturday night infront of the TV. I have to say though that all of the nando's restaurants I've been to have been well decorated, especially the one in London, Bankside. This is located under the railway arches by the Thames.
Cost - I think the cost of a meal in Nando's is a fair price. I wouldn't say it's cheap or expensive. For example a meal with a side and a drink would be just under £10.
I highly recommend Nando's as I love chicken and a speedy service. I do not recommend this restaurant if you don't like chicken and are looking for a high class meal.

Advantages: Full of flavour and perfect for sharing with the unique Nando's Peri-Peri taste. Disadvantages: They have the dangerous combination of being both moreish and pricey !!!
