Nanny goat milk has helped so much with my daughters eczma.Eczma in my daughters case was caused by having a lactose intolerance. i tried several different types of milk including soya but it did not agree with her at all and nothing worked as well as this one.She also found it really easy to digest. It mixes really well into warm to hot water and leaves no residue,but if mixed with cold water it can be hard to get it to completely mix in.One other thing is that you can't heat in the microwave once mixed.So as long as you remember to heat the water first it's pretty easy to use! Finding shops that stock it can also be difficult to find but i have found health shops are the main places to look.
Advantages: No washing. no sterilising. need i say more? Disadvantages: Seriously, none!
great, if you know about it, but for first time users, like grandma's, babysitters or nannies, they can overheat the milk very easily.
the other 'downside' is that the bottles cant go in the microwave for heating. i say 'downside' as this is really a plus point. babies milk should never be heated in a microwave but some people continue to do it anyway.. i certainly feel more confident having someone take care of my son when I know they will heat the milk in water not the microwave.
Obviously there is the cost. these work out at around 50p per bottle, and with 4 feeds a day, £2 a day. I dont think this is excessive when the convenience is taken into consideration, but obviously this depends on your budget.
I would not necessarily recommend these bottles for everyday use, but i think that for a trip or even just a day out, these ...
