Pampers vs Supermarket
Review of Pampers Nappies by vikki-adam

Advantages: absorbant, comfy, stretchy
Disadvantages: a little more expensive

In my opionion pampers nappies are by far the best nappy product out there for baby. I started using pampers when my son was first born and i was impressed by how compact they were but also how absorbant. When my son reached the crawling stage i decided to experiment a little on cheaper brands of nappies but i'd say we only lasted about half way though each pack before we were rushing back to our comfort zone of pampers. I remember trying out ...
...to try out the latest pampers product on sale, pampers premiums active fit. I must say this is what a nappy is all about! Great support, great absorbancy, fantastic elastication and very comfy for little bottoms. I am pleased to say all pampers products i have used have been a pleasure and are easily to put on a wriggly 1.5 year old. Yes pampers are more expensive than other brands but i have found out if you want cheap nappies that is exactly ... Read review

**FANTASTIC AND CHEAP**
Review of Tesco Nappies by NoelleAndel

Advantages: don't leak, just as good as leading brand only cheaper :)
Disadvantages: NONE!!

I have been using Tesco nappies for about 8 months now and I would highly recommend them to any parents of young children. Before 'converting' I always used the more expensive, big brand nappies, until one day I bought a packet of Tesco Ultra nappies by accident (the packaging of these nappies and Pampers are almost identical.) It wasn't until after I paid for them I realised the mistake, and once I started using them I haven't looked back! They ...
...size 6, and the smaller the size the more in the pack :) They have very strong fastening tapes, elasticated waist band, elasticated legs and they are very absorbant - I haven't had one leak yet! Another bonus I found with them is that my son is very big for age - he'll be 3 in September and wears 4 year old clothes - well, these nappies were a godsend because before I started using them he was complaing of the other nappies hurting, but with these ... Huggies aren't for everyone
Review of Huggies Nappies by rosettapress

Advantages: A wide variety of products and sizes
Disadvantages: Can leak and cause soreness

...started putting him in the Huggies he started to get a very red bottom that made him cry out in pain when i tried to clean him up. I also found that they leaked overnight and the little absorbant balls from inside the nappy where coming out! I got half way through the pack before I gave up on them. A few months ago I thought I would try them again and went for the Huggies Natural Fit nappies. They claim to be shaped to fit the baby better and have ...
...to try a few brands until you find the ones that suit best, unfortunately Huggies are a complete no-no for us! Huggies Newborn nappies cost around £3.75 for a pack of 27 and the Natural Fit nappies are around £8.98 for a pack of 46 in a size 4. ... Read review

Back to basics with basic terry squares
Review of Terry Nappies by EmmB

Advantages: Fast-drying, economical, one size just about fits all
Disadvantages: Can't think of any!

...looked back! I chose terry squares because quite frankly I found the array of nappies and nappy systems bewildering, and new that terries were the cheapest option. I bought three nappy nippas, and a set of wraps, fleece boosters and disposable liners which suits me just fine. I find that they are quick to dry (an important consideration if you haven't got or don't want to use a tumble dryer) - far more quick than shaped nappies which take an age ...
...hassle to fold the nappies which seems to be one of people's main concerns! I also find that it is really easy to store and wash the nappies - I 'dry pail' and add sanitiser to my machine and wash on 60 degrees. I find that there are no odours when storing my nappies, and use a drawstring bag to store them in the day when I am out and about. I would thoroughly recommend terries if you want a simple, straightforward nappy system that is environmentally ... Read review

Big Fluffy Bums
Review of Tots Bots Nappies by thejigglyone

Advantages: Great for baby and the environment, come in a nice range of materials and colours
Disadvantages: Expensive initial outlay, can be hard to get, some take long to dry

Tots Bots were the first reusable nappy that i tried. After researching for months i took the plunge and bought 3 fluffles, a rainbow bamboozle, a fleece wrap and a PUL wrap. I tried these out on my little lady for a few weeks. By the time my son was born a couple of months later i was well and truly an addict. I now own loads and loads of different brands of nappies in different shapes and styles so be sure that I am experienced in using cloth. ...
...recently they have introduced dolly tots (cute nappies for dollies), bamboo towels and face cloths. I want to know more about the nappies? All nappies are gently elasticated to give a snug fit. This is especially good in the event of explosive poos. All nappies, except fluffles also feature an attached flapout booster for more absorbancy and for faster drying. Fluffles feature a booster but it snaps in with poppers. Cotton Tots: The original Tots ... Read review
