Average nappy
Review of Modern Baby Shaped Cotton Nappies by classicmum

Advantages: Save money in the long run
Disadvantages: You need a wrap

I bought several of these to try and I have not been overly impressed. They do the job okay, but start to leak if baby does a large wee or left on overnight. Compared with the Kushies Ultra these nappies are not near as good. When compared with the Kushies classics, they are still not as good. I feel that it is a bit of a bother having to put on the shaped nappy and then the wrap. The booster that came with it was a bit bulky but did help with absorption. ...
...it was a fairly slim reusable nappy, which does appeal to some parents. I just was unable to get excited about these nappies, unlike the joy Kushies brings me. I think that using a flat terry nappy is on a par wiht this particular nappy, but will cost you more money than flats. I thought that for a fairly slim reusable, it seemed to take a whole day to dry on the radiator. The wrap which came with it was a good design. I liked the double elasticated ... Read review

Tots Bots are very good!
Review of Tots Bots Nappies by Bevvv

Advantages: They work, look beautiful, and are much cheaper in the long run
Disadvantages: Take 3 days to dry

We have used Tots Bots for our little one and they have been brilliant. I agree with the downside that they take 3 days to dry (on the positive side this is because they absorb so much) but if you are lucky enough to be able to buy 30 nappies then that is enough to have dry ones to use while others are being washed with no need for a tumble dryer. We used the Tots Bots 'Bamboozles' which are made of Bamboo fibre, they are very absorbent and naturally ...
...one for when the baby is 8-18lbs) containing 15 nappies, 4 wraps and paper liners so we got two of these packs in each size plus some of their washable fleece liners for at night and this was enough. It is a lot to spend in one go but still works out cheaper in the long run than disposables, plus, we won't have to buy anything for the second sprog!! With the average baby using 5,000 nappies you know it makes sense. On a totally superficial note, ... Read review

The best liners on the market
Review of Popolini 10 Packs Flushable Nappy Liner Popli by Lumpyleigh

Advantages: strong but very soft and keeps wet from babys skin
Disadvantages: can let staining through onto the nappy

The best liner out there. The material is soft against the baby's bottom but is still strong enought to hold waste, and water resistant to keep wet from baby's skin. This liner is also much bigger than most on the market and so the whole inside of the nappy is covered by the liner so no waste can get onto the actualy nappy. The box is very easy to pull just one liner out at a time and the price per box is about £3.00 for 100 liners which is abouth ... Read review

Stuffie Nappies
Review of Stuffie Nappies by Nappymum

Advantages: Good looking and great performance
Disadvantages: Can be hard to source, but worth the effort

I have two of these nappies out of a total of 20 and boy do I love them. I wish I had bought more, as they are always the first ones I use out of the drawer. They have a lovely soft fleecy inner , which you can get in some great funky prints. This is nice and soft against the baby's skin and wicks away the wetness. Because of the pocket style of this nappy, you can make the nappy as absorbant as you want, by boosting the pocket as much or as little ...
...inside one of mine, which is perfect for my heavy wetting girl. Alternatively you can use booster pads, microfibre cloths or even an old tea towel. They fasten with a nappy nippa, the revolutionary non pin fastener, which gives a great fit. Don't be put off by this, tas he nippa gives a much better fit than velcro, and is less fiddly than poppers. Believe me, I've tried them all! These are a two part nappy, so you will need a waterproof wrap over ... Read review

Nappies nappies everywhere
Review of Tesco Nappies by emma29879

Advantages: Good value, absorbent
Disadvantages: none really

I was recently given som tesco bay essential nappies to try and i have to say i was more than a little sceptical about them. I have always been a pampers fan and seeing nothing wrong with them saw no point in changing. However i thought i would give the tesco ones a go. They cost around £6.79 for a pack of 56 which is the biggest pack size I have seen, I dont think they do a jumbo value box or anything like that. I opened the packet and was not ...
...problems like that with the Tesco nappies as I said the slightly shiny covering has it's advantages as the outside was lovely and dry. So nappy off and i have to say i was hugely impressed by how dry and soft babies skin was. not even slightly tacky to touch. I used the pack i had and it lasted about a week and i was so impressed with how good they were I have now converted to the Tesco nappies. I also have a five month old and when her last pack ...
