Motherease washable nappies
Review of Mother Ease Reusable Nappies by
medusa8
Advantages: Enviromentally friendly, good for babys skin
Disadvantages: Big enitial cost, a little bulky especially on a newborn
With my first son I used a different brand of washable nappies along with a laundry service but they were terrible and leaked all the time. I was in two minds about using them again with my second son, born this year, but I like the idea of them and care about the enviroment , which disposables are terrible for, so decided to give a different type ago.
I settled on the motherease brand after some research on the internet and talking to friends and ... ...absorbant, with no leakage so far! and dry very quickly once washed. The nappies themselves can be washed at 60 degrees and the wraps at 40 I believe. The do not require any special teatment and there is no need to use fabric softener as they are soft enough and good for babys skin. too Plus fabric conditioner reduces absorbancy.
I found them as easy if not easier than disposables, they are adjustable around the wasit and legs with poppers and/ ...

Best wrap for use with fitted washable nappies
Review of Mother Ease Air Rika Wrap by
Jossie11
Advantages: Softest, most leak proof, best fitting wrap
Disadvantages: None
I have used a wide variety of washable nappies and wraps and this wrap is by far the best. With a shaped fitted nappy underneath, I have had very few leaks and those have only been when nappy has been on too long or part of nappy has been sticking out. It works well with terry squares too. It comes in white or patterned and is made of a lovely, soft PUL. It adjusts at the waist and legs with poppers, to ensure a comfortable fit. It can be washed ...

Huggies burst
Review of Huggies Super Flex Super Dry Nappies by
kerryp2006
Advantages: cannot think of any
Disadvantages: Leak, burst
I have tried these nappies with both my children and had the same problems each time. They just leak. They cannot hold very much wetness at all and i would not dream of using them overnight. The first time i used them was 4-5 years ago, when i tried them recently within the past month they still have the same problem. Believe me, when they burst it goes everywhere, rtrying to pick up the messy wet gel is hard work.
I though with such a big time ... ...nothing has changed, only the pretty little design. I would say they are the best nappy for looking nice and cute but thats about it.
However i would have said they was good value for money but if you consider how much more often you need to make nappy changes they are no different to other leading brands in terms of value for money. I would not recommend these after having used them on both my children ...

Bambino Mio and all they have to offer.
Review of Bambino Mio Reusable by
kalliemaile
Advantages: Can be used with more than one child to save extra money , 100 % cotton
Disadvantages: Quite costly
...nappies and one stood out, Bambino Mio, it was easy to use, the design was nice and it looked to be the most comfortable for my baby, it wasn't bulky either, so I went out and purchased a few more wraps and nappies and claimed back £30 of my spend.
Bambino Mio nappies are made up of 3 separate parts...
Mio Nappy - this is a cotton towel like pad. The pad is made up of layers of cotton so it absorbs well, the middle of the pad is a bit thicker than ... ...till the next change.
Bambino recommend that if you are using only cotton nappies, you will need to purchase 24 Mio Nappies , 3-6 soft covers and 1 role of Mio Liners initially. Personally, I have 4 covers and 10 nappies, obviously the liners you will just need to keep buying as needed. Also it will depend if you will be using solely cotton nappies or a mix of real and disposable.
I use cotton nappies most of the time, but if I know I am going ...

A wipe for anything
Review of Huggies Wipes by
lyndsayw
Advantages: Cleans most things
Disadvantages: not enough in packet
...going to review now is Huggies Pure.
These are my ever faithful wet wipes I don't know where I would be with out them I use them for everything.
The packaging is mainly blue with a red strip with the products name written across it, there is a baby with no clothes on as this product is aimed at you to wipe your children clean. There is 72 wipes in this packet. It also has the BRITISH SKIN FOUNDATION logo on this shows you that Huggies validates ... ...on there.
Huggies pure is designed to be just like using cotton wool and water so they are very gentle and smooth as i have used some that a rough and you dont want that for your babys bottom or then again anywhere else on your children.
You dont have to use these wet wipes just for children you can use them for yourself cleaning and even to wipe the walls down it gets crayon off easyaly. I use them on everything i can they are very handy to have ...
