Ok for mio bambino's caboose

Advantages: Soft, seem to work well most of the time
Disadvantages: Catch on rough skin, can roll up, small

As you may know from seeing other reviews of mine, hubby and I are on a continuing mission to find good, effective nappy liners to use with the "real" (as opposed to imaginary, har har) nappies our 19 month-old son wears. At this rate, I suspect we'll have potty trained him before we find the right ones... Here’s hoping that others will be able to benefit from our experimentation and research! These nappy liners are quite small (about 8" x 4"), which ...
...feel they are actually too small. If your baby moves around a lot - and let's face it, they all do - the liner can move and end up not protecting the nappy from poo... (yes, it's another poo-based review - eat your dinner later instead!). These have the exact same problem as the One Life liners - they are lovely and soft (again, they're made of 100% viscose), but this means that they snag on your nails if they're anything other than absolutely smooth ...

Nappy Wrapper

Advantages: if you dont have an outside bin due to living in an apartment.
Disadvantages: Prongs fall out, expensive cartridges, smells

Loved this product at first, now it annoys the hell out of me, it does stink everytime you open it, i have cleaned it with disenfectant many times it smells fine for about a week then bad again. The most annoying feature of the nappy wrapper is the prongs none of mine stay in place im forever trying to gentle put the lid back on after emptying only to find the first nappy in makes them all drop out again, rendering the nappy wrapper useless. I now ...

Motherease diapers are the most user-friendly of all cloth diaper

Advantages: The best feature of these diapers are the use of snaps rather than velcro.
Disadvantages: The diapers report that they are one size fits all. However, I would suggest that these diapers

Motherease diapers are the best choice for mothers considering cloth diapers. The diapers are extremely absorbent and do not leak! The diapers consist of a cloth diaper, snap-in doubler and a snap cover or velcro cover. The diapers report that they are one size fits all. However, I would suggest that these diapers fit babies from 15 pounds to 35 pounds. This is a large span therefore they are a good investment for the size ranges that they cover. ...
...diapers are the use of snaps rather than velcro. This makes washing the diapers and covers easier as they do not stick together in the wash. The terry cloth material used in the diaper is also a great feature as this dries much faster than flannel diapers. This allows the diapers to dry in one cycle of the dryer compared to the flannel diapers that usually take more than one cycle to dry completely. The airflow covers are easy to use and have three ...

Mother Ease Wraps ease baby-changing for this mum and dad!

Advantages: Adjustable, very effective, wash well, easy to use
Disadvantages: Have a slightly odd "bloused" look to them when on

We started using the Tots Bots wraps that came with the Tots Bots Bamboozles nappies we bought. They come in 4 sizes, with the small ones fitting babies from birth and the largest fitting babies more than 35lbs. We used the smaller ones without a huge amount of trouble, but as soon as our son realised that velcro makes a brilliant sound as it opens, these wraps became about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. Very frustrating! So, we have tried ...
...How do you use them? They are designed to be used over shaped nappies (like the Tots Bots Bamboozles we use). They fasten with poppers rather than velcro, which has worked much better for us, and changes are definitely faster. The poppers are very adjustable, with a choice of 2 poppers at the waist and 3 at the leg for maximum adjustability. The only thing is that they therefore don't give a really snug-looking fit, as they tend to end up "blousing" ...

Nice soft nappy liners, and environmentally-friendly

Advantages: Lovely and soft, big, seem to work quite well
Disadvantages: Soft texture snags on your hands. Not the cheapest.

We decided to try these nappy liners having found them on eBay. We seem to be on a permanent mission to try to find the optimum nappy liners, and I have to say that I don't think the search is completely over yet... Just in case you're not sure why you'd need a nappy liner, you put one inside the reusable nappy with every nappy change. It catches the poo (hope you're not eating while surfing the internet!) and allegedly helps keep your baby feeling ...
...from their skin - not sure how this actually works, but our son doesn't complain, so I guess it works somehow! These liners are both biodegradable and flushable. Now, I'm a big fan of biodegradable, but I'm less convinced about flushable. The only time we ever change our son in the toilet/bathroom is when we're out and about (in a disabled toilet or baby change that's also a toilet). However, even in those circumstances, you will also have at least ...
