Nappy Wrapper
Advantages: if you dont have an outside bin due to living in an apartment. Disadvantages: Prongs fall out, expensive cartridges, smells
Loved this product at first, now it annoys the hell out of me, it does stink everytime you open it, i have cleaned it with disenfectant many times it smells fine for about a week then bad again. The most annoying feature of the nappy wrapper is the prongs none of mine stay in place im forever trying to gentle put the lid back on after emptying only to find the first nappy in makes them all drop out again, rendering the nappy wrapper useless. I now ...

Smell Be Gone!
Advantages: good price, locks in smells, saves running in and ot the house alllll day Disadvantages: when you take the lid off it is stinking.
I bought this nappy wrapper after my partner said it would be the best thing for us as we live in flat so it would mean i wouldn't have to leave my baby alone to nip down the stairs and out to the bin. I hope my review is helpful.
**Packaging**
The nappy wrappr came in a large white and purple box. On the front it had a picture of the wrapper and the contents inside and on the back there was a description of what the product was and how it works.
... ...large tub with a detachable lid and a flip lid on top of the detachable lid, sounds slightly confusing so i hope my pictures make it a bit clearer. You open the flip and push your dirty nappy into whatlooks like a giant white nappy bag, once it is pushed in you turn a little handle around in a full circle. This then seals the nappy and the smell into a little indivual bag. The nappies all then collect in the bucket until you are ready to empty it. ...

A useful addition to the changing bag
Advantages: Soft; small to carry around Disadvantages: Quite thin; pricey
Pampers Change Mats are 60 x 60 cms in size. The side that is placed next to the surface is made from plastic and will, therefore, prevent any leaks from going through the mat. The side on which you place baby is soft and slightly padded. To be honest, I'm not sure if the mats would slide around or move, particularly if baby was wriggling / kicking.
The change mats are very thin. Personally, I see this as being both a good and a bad point. The advantage ... ...and are ideal for packing into baby's changing bag.
The disdavantage is that the mats would not give too much protection for baby when placing him / her onto a harder surface. The size of the mats are ideal for babies, particularly when they are young, although two mats would be needed when changing an older baby, as one mat would not be long enough. Luckily, my baby has not had any accidents on a change mat yet, so I have been able to re-use them. ...

Ideal for the disposal of Mew Poo!
Advantages: Cheap, they do the job, fragranced Disadvantages: None for me
...read one by Butterbear for Asda Smartprice Nappy Bags currently priced at 300 for 82p. I thought to myself - these would be ideal for Mew poo!
The pack is very simple in design in pale green and white with a silhouette of a teddy bear as of course these are supposed to be used to dispose of your babies nappies! At the top of the packet there is an oval of perforations so that you can remove this bit of the packet and leave a hole through which you ... ...The information on the Asda website and on the back of the pack states that these bags 'have been carefully made to provide the ideal way to dispose of used nappies. Simply pop the nappy into the bag together with any cotton wool or wipes used during a nappy change. Once the handles have been tied together, the fragrance will mask any unpleasant smells.'
I have quoted this information from the sources mentioned as I obviously can't comment on the ...

poo catcher!
Advantages: make cleaning easy! Disadvantages: paper ones can be rough!
To be honest, a cotton nappy without a liner is an absolute mess - my worst nightmare about the whole process!
Nappy liners make using real nappies easy - all you do is slip it in on top of the nappy and fasten as normal and it keeps all the nasty poo on the surface so you can just throw or flush it all away without having to wash it (that is if you use disposable liners) however even the fleece and fabric liners are easier and less horrible to ... ...more enviro friendly option!
Nappy liners generally work on a one way system, they let all moisture through to the nappy but will not let any pass back so the babies skin is kep dry and soft! They also retain all solid - this doesnt completely keep all poo away from the nappy (espescially if it is a big watery one) as moisture still passes through so generally there is a brown mark left - but usually no brown sludge for mummy or daddy to need to ...
