A Natwest 'Card Plus Account' is aimed at younger people like yuong teens,I curently have one of these accounts and I think it's brilliant. I am only in my early teens myself and this account suits me down to the ground!
Not only do you have a great Natwest system, you get a 'Solo' debit card which for me is really handy,(You can use this card for many things, from buying clothes and music to ordering a Pizza etc... and you also get a folder of information and a place where you can store all your statements. You get a paying in book and if you are older than 18 you can get a Cheque book and many other things as well. All of these are very useful and I would recommend any one interested in this account to go for it. The idea is for it to be a savings account as there is quite a large rate of interest.(4.0%) which I think is another advantage of using Natwest's Card plus account. One of the disadvantages of the account is that you can get in debt and get punished severely. There are many advantages though, like Natwest has many cash machines spread world wide, more than other banking facilities, which once again I think is v.good as nowadays you get charged for using other banks cash machines.
I think if you are in need of a savings account and are in your teen years you should look into this account-if you do join(which is totally free of charge like everything else Natwest offers) you usually get a reward, which is Natwest's way of saying thank you-I got a £10 JJB voucher!!!!!!!!

Advantages: SOLO Debit (Use online and on the highstreet), Online Banking, Lots of cash machines, helpful staff, Maestro debit card facility for abroad. Disadvantages: SOLO is not quite as widely accepted as SWITCH but it's not really a problem - very few banks do not offer debit cards at all to my age group
