GO TO THE BANK WHEN IT SUITS YOU

Advantages: Convinient, check your account any time, secure
Disadvantages: None

...If you're a young person NatWest is one of the best banks to go with, unlike all of the other high street banks which require you to be 16 to have a Solo card NatWest give their customers a Solo card from the age of 11. If your not sure what a Solo card please see the various Ciao reviews of it. Basically however it's a debit card that is in many ways like a Switch card, but with a Solo card you can only spend what's in your account…so no getting ...
...Anyway whether you are a NatWest customer or not you can sign up easily for NatWest online banking which according to a recent Which? survey and a study in .net internet magazine is the best online high street bank. And on top of that natwest.com has the thumbs up from me! Lol. ~* How to Apply *~ If you are a non-NatWest customer you must firstly open up an account with them (which can be done online) and then apply for online banking. When you ...

INTERNET BANKING WITH NATWEST

Advantages: Very convenient, Lots of features
Disadvantages: Still some security concerns

...NatWest, you (obviously) need a NatWest current account – I have a “Card Plus” account which gives users the use of a Solo card (see my other op on this). Then, go to www.natwest.com and click on “Info + Apply” in the top right corner. From this page you need to click on the link to download an application form, which then needs to be filled in and returned to NatWest. They then send you a letter, containing a customer number, which you need to use ...
...can transfer money between two NatWest accounts, or set up a third party payment to another account. For this you need to know the account number and sort code, but it is very easy to set up. You can also see a list of all of your current direct debits that you have going in the account – details include: Payee; Reference; Status; Last Payment; and Amount. You can view more details about each direct debit that you have, or cancel it from the site. ...

The webwise way to watch your wad of wonga

Advantages: Secure, easy, comprehensive banking service.
Disadvantages: Only for Natwest account holders

...why. I've been with Natwest a long time now (about 8 years), and for the past 5 years or so have taken advantage of their very slick telephone banking service, Actionline. Then, around 6 months ago, they completely changed Actionline around, and not for the better in my opinion - too complicated. So I started looking at the alternative, at natwest.com. ======= THE SITE ======= It's a well-presented, fairly unpretentious-looking site. Natwest ...
...popups. Account holders with Natwest need to register with the service, which takes a short while followed by a wait of a couple of days for your service to be set up. ======== SECURITY ======== Once set up, you're provided with a fair amount of security details. You have your 10 figure customer number, which is actually easy to remember because it consists of your DoB followed by a 4 figure PIN. On top of this, you have your own password (minimum ...

Natwest On Line Banking for Business

Advantages: Time saving, instant access and availability
Disadvantages: Unable to transfer monies from all types of accounts including international payments

NatWest On Line Banking For Business I am a Director of a small investment company and have suffered all the traumas and problems of running a small business for nearly thirty years. Book keeping, banking, filling in forms for this and that, filing company returns and all the negative issues of running a business have been made a lot easier by the introduction of “On Line Banking”. I have been a customer of Natwest for many years and ...

NatWest - finance starts here

Advantages: Online banking, wide range of bank accounts
Disadvantages: 16 or over to use online banking service

NatWest offer a wide range of bank accounts. I am currently a holder of the NatWest Card Plus account and have found that they offer a wide range of services to the youth as well as the general public. I found that bank staff treat with you with respect 9/10 times you walk in. My personal expreiences with NatWest are good as they offer many services that other banks do not offer for example you can top up your mobile from a cash machine. This is very handy for mobile users. In my opinion NatWest offer the best online banking service. It is fast and reliable but there is one problem. Online banking is only available of to 16 or over. I find this extremeley dissapointing as they offer debit cards from age 11. NatWest also offer exceptional services. If you are a student and are hunting for a relaible bank NatWest would be one to ...

A decent enough bank who are good at dealing with problems

Disadvantages: Problems with Maestro card, long queues at peak times, not all branches have extended opening

of money but saying that it has always worked fine for me. Online banking I do practically all of my banking through NatWest's secure online banking website. Here you can see a summary of all your accounts along with detailed statements, transfer money between accounts and to other people, check your direct debits and standing orders and make bill payments, among other things! However I am not aware of any way to apply for accounts online. The website is secure with 3 layers of passwords/usernames. It is always very fast to load and transactions go through quickly. Dealing with complaints My experiences with NatWest have not been problem-free. To my recollection I have had two issues with the bank since opening an account, however both problems were dealt with brilliantly. The first problem was when a standing order ...

and set up direct debits at a branch but I can do it very easily online from the warmth and comfort of my own home. And for anyone out there who is worried about the security of NWOLB (NatWest OnLine Banking) I can assure you that you have no reason to worry. To access your account online you must enter a selected number of digits from your pincode as well as a seleted number of characters from your password, and just to make you even more happy they tell you the last time the account was accessed so you can keep a record to ensure no one is tampering with your account! Overall National Westminister Bank is exceptional with hundreds of service ranging from loans and stock broking to Card Plus accouts for youngsters, all offered to you with a welcoming smile and genial politeness. ...
