I have found that on the two occasions I have had problems and they have taken longer than the hour to arrive that by coincidence the form ... ...After a phone call they posted "another" form in the mail to me, the first apparently went missing on both occasions. Eventually they did pay the money to me.
So if you have trouble remember to get the form and check the timings. It may just be in your interest to do so. ... more

...repairs I called the National Breakdown. I was covered through my insurance company (Dial Direct)for free so I gave them a ring. The first number I called was my insurance company, but they put me on to the right number.
Three minutes later, having answered half a dozen questions, I was told I would be seen within the hour.
Forty minutes later a breakdown wagon arrived from a local garage, the mechanic found the hose that was at fault and removed ... ...coverded for road side assistance so he could not go and get a part for me. But he gave me his mobile number and sasid he would return to fit the part when I got one. This is what I call service, quick, no hassle and helpfull.
As it happened I managed to fit the new pipe myself so did not need the mechanic to return, but the offer to return was much appreciated ...

I took my series landrover there to repair a simple bodged thermostat from a previous owner.
They said it was a simple job that would take a day.
Then they never had the tools, so it was 2 days, then 3 days, then 4 days,
Then to save money i had to scout around getting parts they never had.
All the time they fed me false promises about how well it would work.
Finally nationalmotors said they couldnt fix it, and i would have to HAVE A COMPLETE NEW ENGINE HEAD!
I did not want to be CONNED any more so i had it towed back to where I bought it, who fixed it in one day easily and cheaply.
But not before nationalmotors held my vehicle to RANSOM for the bodging they had done! and would not let me have my vehicle before i had paid them!
Avoid this ...
