National Motors garage in Fishponds, Bristol represents itself as a landrover specialist
I took my series landrover there to repair a simple bodged thermostat from a previous owner.
They said it was a simple job that would take a day.
Then they never had the tools, so it was 2 days, then 3 days, then 4 days,
Then to save money i had to scout around getting parts they never had.
All the time they fed me false promises ...
...said they couldnt fix it, and i would have to HAVE A COMPLETE NEW ENGINE HEAD!
I did not want to be CONNED any more so i had it towed back to where I bought it, who fixed it in one day easily and cheaply.
But not before national motors held my vehicle to RANSOM for the bodging they had done! and would not let me have my vehicle before i had paid them!
Avoid this garage like the plague if you are a landrover owner.  ... more
