THIS BUILDING SOCIETY HAS SURVIVED MANY ATTEMPTS TO DE-MUTUALISE AND BECOME A PRIVATE COMPANY WITH THE INTERESTS OF SHAREHOLDERS AS A PRIORITY. ALL CREDIT TO MANAGEMENT KEEPING NATIONWIDE'S MUTUAL STATUS WHICH BENEFITS MANY HOMEOWNERS THROUGH LOWER INTEREST RATES AND SAVER THROUGH HIGHER RATES COMPARED TO HIGH STREET COMPETITORS. UNLIKE ABBEY NATIONAL, NATIONWIDE DID NOT SELL OUT. NATIONWIDE PROVIDES ACCOUNTS SUCH AS SMART2SAVE FOR THE UNDER 16S WITH SMART ACCOUNTS FOR UNDER 18S ALSO A WIDE RANGE OF INSTANT ACCESS TO NOTICE ACCOUNTS FOR ADULTS. NATIONWIDE WILL FOREVER REMAIN A BUILDING SOCIETY WITH ITS CURRENT STRUCTURE OF EXCELLENT CUSTOMER TREATMENT EXPLAINING ALL JARGON MAKING IT EASIER FOR LAYMANS TO UNDERSTAND. FULLY RECOMMENDED ETHICAL ORGANISATION ALSO CONTRIBUTING TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHICH IS MORE THAN I CAN SAY FOR OTHER HIGH STREET NAMES.

As with your other op there is a lot of promise here. Some info around how you can open accounts, customer service and actual interest rates would have got you a higher mark. Again if you edit this let me know and i'll gladly re-rate. Cheers marc

I'm sorry for the UH but you haven't really told us about what services the Nationwide provide. If you decide to update, please leave me a message and I'll re-rate. Sara X
