I've been really keen to find an alternative to bleached and plastic-y sanitary towels for a while now. And while I'm a fan of the idea of washable, reusable cloth sanitary towels, practically - and for the sake of saving my blushes - I am eschewing them (for the moment).
I turned to what seems to be the next best thing: Natracare.
Natracare are non-chlorine bleached, perfume-free, plastic-free and over 95% biodegradable. Great I thought and ordered some super pads with wings online. When they arrived I was pleased to see that they are packaged in a cardboard box and the individual wrappers are paper not plastic - excellent from an environmental point of view and because they are much quieter to unwrap than those with plastic wrappers (hurrah!).

The start button is usually used to pause the game. The Xbox Guide button is used to bring up the Xbox dashboard anytime so you can access your friends list, custom soundtracks, profile settings etc. Finally to the top right of the pad we have the four coloured face buttons A, B, X and Y these are your main action buttons which you will no doubt mash in your gaming sessions. The layout of the controller is very natural and as a result the pad fits very comfortably into your hands.

It may not be as comfortable as the PS2 or PS3 pads in my opinion but it does fit very well into your hands and feels quite natural (if thats possible). The buttons are all in easy to access spots so you shouldn't have any problems using combinations of buttons, with the trigger buttons working very well in driving games with them being pressure sensitive.
The batteries dont last a massive amount of time but a plug and charge kit soon sorts that problem.
