Natraderm Moisturising Non Greasy Skin Treatment Lotion

I have been happily using Natraderm for about four months now after it was recommended to me by a neighbour who had bought it to treat rather severe eczema on her 8-month-old baby. My children are older and don't suffer from eczema or dermatitis, but unfortunately I do and have tried most of the moisturizing creams on the market including different kinds of steroid based treatments. My eczema seems to flare up very easily and I am not happy using hydrocortisone over long periods of time. As is the case with many sufferers, one ingredient in a product might cause a reaction and with me, even stress can trigger it off. I had tried some of the 'alternative' remedies out there and some of them had caused severe reactions. Some of them contain chemicals or even natural or essential oils that are known irritants. For this reason I was hesitant to try Natraderm but have been very happily surprised!

The Natraderm lotion has a very nice non-greasy feel and is rapidly absorbed into the skin. It does not contain any colour and the bottle I purchased was the unscented variety. Apparently, the unscented type is now the only type available in the shops. It comes in a 125ml squeeze bottle and is a cream type lotion that is easy to spread over large areas.

I immediately noticed a cooling feeling and after a minute or two it had soothed my eczema and taken away much of the itching. After a week or two, my skin was visibly improved and it has remained that way. Of course, my eczema is not cured but it certainly helps manage the condition and I would definitely recommend it to other people suffering from skin problems such as mine. I have found it more suitable for my skin than other products such as E45, Diprobase Cream or Eucerin. It is definitely good value for money, but I would like to see a bigger bottle as I go through quite a large amount of it.

I have experienced no irritation, nor has anyone I have spoken to. Well nothing in life can be guaranteed not to produce an allergic reaction, but the manufacturer confidently confirms that they have done everything they can to omit any ingredients that are known to possibly cause a reaction and to produce the safest product possible. I think you will find this product to be among the most gentle on the market.
