Advantages: DriveAway, Downloads available, Blackspots, Disadvantages: Postcode not 7 characters, no live Traffic information
...Having had a built in Satellite Navigation system in my Alfa 147 for 18 months, when the time came to get a company car, for my new role, I was actually concerned. How would I ever find my way from A to B, especially the last mile or two near B without the benefit of an electronic navigation system? I made the decision that I would invest in a new system, as it would be worth it to remove the worry about whether I can find a place and arrive on time using old fashioned maps and printed directions from www.theaa.com!
Picking a System
------------------------
Tom-tom and Navman seem to be the two main suppliers of in car navigation systems available at present, and both are rapidly gaining in popularity. A colleague of mine also had a Navman which he had raved about, and like me spends a good deal of time on the road between our hotels...

Advantages: Easy to use and install Disadvantages: over sensitive sreen.
...I have found the NavmanF10 to be easy to install in my vehicle and also simple to transfer over to another vehicle if needed.
The lcd display is bright and easy to read,the touch screen can be a little bit of a problem when using your finger to touch the digits sometimes registering ajacent digits instead ,but I have found using a pen with a lid on to touch the screen instead of a finger works fine.
I have owned the f10 now for about six months and have found in this time it was a godsend whilst on holiday and also finding addresses whilst covering a delivery job for a friend.
All in all I think the Navmanf10 is very good value for money and is easy to use....

Advantages: Too many to list. Excellent value, efficient and easy to use Disadvantages: It has a car charger, not an ac charger. Is that too bad?

* It is quite slimline
* Easy to use
* Cheap compared to other sat navs
* Has a number of different views for your journey and you can bring up a list of directions rather than a map if you prefer
* Tells you your estimated time of arrival
* Has quite a large screen
* You can find an address with a postcode, road name or simply a town
* You can search for local ammenities from a petrol station to an amusement park and find your nearest ones
* Warns you about speed cameras
* Tells you what speed you are going

I have the navman s50 3d which is the 15th sat-nav/gps device I have owned. What attracted me initialy was the cheap price and the 14 multi drop destinatons you can input (I am a multi drop delivery driver). However, I find the touch screen entry of... more

To sum up in a sentance - I would buy this again.
I previously had a Garmin product which worked very well, but eventuall gave up on me. This forced the purchase of a new model which must have European mapping. The S90i has that and a few other bits more
